Loved it. The tiki theme was awesome, the atmosphere was great. Clean rooms. The pool and hot tub was exactly what we needed at Xmas time. Will absolutely be back next time we visit palm springs

Very friendly staff. Comfortable beds, nice pillows. But the only light switch at the door turned on the ceiling fan so I had to wander through a dark room to manually turn on a lamp

Fantastic lunch at Enzvin! Just the lighter interlude we needed as a break during all the enjoyment of excess. Bright flavors, crisp and varied textures, excellently roasted meats, great vegetarian options.

Let yourself unwind with friendly awesome staff, super clean and spacious rooms a decent sized pool with very nice hottub, full service Bar and a Restaurant that is pool-side. Cute motel, with a large pool and a tiki theme. Rooms smell a little musty-wet with an old cigarette smoke smell--and the beds could very well be vintage. The price was right and the pool was great.

Have only been for a party in the indoor/outdoor poolside bar. Food was good, bartenders were fun and nice. Inside bar is fairly small but has very tropical/Hawaiian decor with a stage. Outside area continues with the tropical feel, has nice seating and pool area is lovely. Several of us said we'd be back because it has such a great ambiance you feel like you've been away to the tropics.

Whilst having a dated appearance and history, it had a charm which has made it a great place to stay. A good pool with a friendly bar offered a good haven to avoid the scorching sun. The rooms whilst large and well appointed appeared dated. The AC worked well when used together with the ceiling fan.

I always try to stay here whenever I come out to Palm springs. The location is convenient, the staff is always friendly and bonus points because they'll give your guest a parking pass if you ask. The rooms have always been spotless, and the hotel itself has a cool vibe to it. I can't recommend this place enough!

Great place to stay at with good rates. The rooms are simple but clean and comfortable. The staff is super friendly. Great pool with large shallow and deep end. There is a small jacuzzi and grass area with cabanas . This is my third stay here and I have been happy every time.

We had a wonderful time here. The rooms were spacious and there was a relaxing pool. It isn't excessive but the hotel was very relaxing. My only qualm was the single ply toilet paper. The employee by the front desk Karina was very amiable and helpful!

Caliente Tropics would have been 3 stars but being woken up by blasting tiki music from the pool at 7:45am two mornings in a row really?! Let people sleep in. The rooms are fine. The price is good for the area. They could provide wash cloths and towels that are not so old the terry is literally worn off. But it is clean. Just don't try to order a tiki drink at the pool- mediocre cocktails at best.

We had a large group for cocktails at the bar. Lines to buy drinks were very long, which was frustrating. Seating was limited. View overlooking the beautiful pool was very nice from the lounge area. The staff was trying very hard to keep up, and after about 45 minutes, things calmed down, and I was able to walk up to the bar and get refills quickly. I have been to large pool parties here that have had similar issues with the bar being overwhelmed. But in those cases, the bar is secondary to the pool fun.
