The waterfall is a joke. But the park, camping area and trails are great. We loved it and so did our dog.

We hike at this park frequently. Today we hiked the Charcoal Hearth Trail which is most difficult. We hiked up the mountain which is a pretty steep climb with switchbacks. Beautiful day for a hike. There are numerous trails throughout the park including part of the Appalachian Trail. Nice picnic areas and great place for families.

Great park! Very clean and well maintained. Game wardens do walk around for safety etc. Dogs are aloud on leashes. Nice pool for $7, pool safety checks about every hour, life guards are attentive and professional. Very relaxing, get there early if u want a charcoal grill, those spots fill up quick!

Great place! A river runs through it, campground, playground, cold fun big pool and the Appalachian Trail goes right through the park along with lots of other great hiking trails. Great place for a day trip, overnight, or a week!

Great place to camp. Central location to many attractions. Several hiking trails for all levels of hikers. Although the bathrooms and showers at the park are clean, they are in dire need of updating.

Wonderful rural state park. Free parking, lots of picnic areas, grills, walking trails, access to Appalachian Trail, creek swimming, fishing, and public pool. A great location for photography and photo shoots. Pets are allowed as long as they are leashed. Handicap accessible areas. Very clean park. Rangers Station easily located. All around great place to enjoy nature.

This is a beautiful park with a really nice creek for swimming. There are wide open spaces for people to play Frisbee or other sports as well. The public restrooms are pretty clean. I did not swim in the pool, so I cannot comment on that.

Nice campground. Quiet during the week but busy on the weekend. Not all pf the sites are created equal. Choose carefully as some sites are VERY close to eachother. 4 stars due to bathrooms needing updating badly. Campground host was friendly and lots of trials within walking distance. Gettysburg was about a 20 minute drive.

Caledonia State park is a nice place to have cookout/picnic. Many picnic tables in spots all around the park. Took some 360 photos here to show off the park and the park is very beautiful. The creek is very nice and relaxing. The park also has a pool.

Nice get away. Sights are alittle small and unlevel but we found a nice little one to fit our camper and two vehicles. 143. I understand the park is getting a face lift next year. At least the bath house could use it our host was very hospitable. She came and said hi to us and our dogs. Park rangers were helpful to us being from 5,000 miles away. Over all a nice stay :)

Camped for three nights at the Hosack Run Campground. We are tent campers and stayed at sight 165. Most of the tent sites are not very good. Would recommend site 165 or 169 if you are a tent camper. The electric sites on the interior of the loop are all pretty tight. The facilities are OK and the campground is scheduled for a renovation this fall.

Nice hiking trails in Michaux State Forest. Also some nice mountain biking trails.

I am giving this 5 stars because my site was great with nice privacy. If we had stayed at our original site #159this review might well have been two stars as it was close to a noisy playground, far away from water and the tent sites were very sloped.

Stayed in the group camping area. The potable water was not very close to the campsite. And had to go to another campsite for trash disposal. The creek running through the area and the access to trails was awesome. Pool wasn't too far away, but we didn't use it. Showers could be had for $4 a piece.
