Beautiful lake park.. loads of room for biking, walking, jogging and boat rides or if u just want some peace and quiet. Great spot for fishing as well and if u fancy a cold swim now that's it fall, there's a small beach area and water is slightly clean. I do wish they had more bathrooms though as most of the time the toilets are always closed. But otherwise great spot to hang out with friends and family.

Great first time experience! Loved the cabin, facilities are modern and clean.
Trails could use better maintenance and mileage markings. Beach area disappointing, concession stand looks like it's been closed for years. Hopefully, locals heard they received a grant.
    Will be back next year!

I absolutely loved it. The cabin I rented was perfect. The bathrooms/showers modern and super clean. There is a coin operated washer and dryer as well as a place to wash your dishes. I had a great view of the lake. I will certainly be back. 😀

There is a variety of activities that can be done here, swimming from late may till September in designated areas, A lot of hiking, some snowmobiling in the winter time, as well as fishing and boating. Watch your step though! You may see a Copperhead or two.

They are doing some long over due beautification to the park . Planting trees and shrubs ect. I go here often to walk my dog. Love having a state park so close to home.

Great place for a couple hour hike with my dog. Lots of main and side trails to choose from. The lake is nice and clean and my dog loves to dive in and swim. Quite a few pavilions with grills. Restrooms available in main areas.

We stayed in a cottage. They are perfect for the usual tent campers that are looking for something a little different. Out scenery was beautiful!! We brought our own boat and were able to dock it close to our cottage. The restrooms/showers were super nice compared to other PA state parks we've been to. Would definitely recommend this park!
