Been going here for years and the food has always been amazing. Great spicy lamb and it's BYOB for wine and beer for a small corkage fee. I don't think you can bring any liquor.

Tucson is blessed to have several Ethiopian places, and Cafe Desta is excellent. I'm pretty sure you can BYOB and they only charge a small corkage/glass fee. Great spot!

Good food. Fair prices. Tasty coffee. My wife and I tried a couple of dishes that we've never had before. We're new to Ethiopian food. The experience was great. The bread is like nothing I've had before and was great for scooping up and eating the soup. I also left full but feeling good. We'll be back!

One of the best Ethiopian restaurants I've been to, anywhere. BYOB, so many vegan options, and gluten free injera available upon request. Even the kids love the food here, and they can accommodate large groups with some notice. Lunch is lightning fast and under $10.

If you've never had Ethiopian food, this is a fun experience! The food is good and reasonably priced. Be warned that a fair amount of the food is spicy though. Also the chickpea dish is not easy on the stomach.

We (my elderly mom and visiting sister) ate Sunday lunch at this place yesterday. 5 stars! Pretty darned good!!! Very reasonable and interesting food. But not overwhelming--the food was spicy, but not too spicy, portions were reasonable and filling but we didn't come away overstuffed. We ate out on the shady little patio in 90* weather, while authentic it wasn't too hot. I will take my visiting family and friends and visit here again.

The spiced Chai tea and the Ethiopian lattes were just plain superb.
