Had a amazing time exploring the caves. There are three levels you can explore. The first level is the one we chosen which happens every hour until closing. It about an hour tour if not a little more. We got down to 80 feet in the cave. Now there was any rope or jumping involved on this level. We walked a lot of steps. It was still a great tour! If you want to be more adventurous, then try the other 2 levels. My husband and I are certainly coming back to do the other 2 levels next year!
Our tour guide Savannah was great! She was very informative and answered any questions we may have had. She was also funny! I have to say one thing though. These tour guides are tough. Make sure to thank them when the tour is over. They have to give a tour a few times a day so they get tried but still do a amazing job to keep you entertained. So if your looking to for adventure, a fun time with education and jokes thrown into the mix or just a possible wedding location. This is the place to be! We had a great time. The cave tour guide was great and informative. We got to hold piglets as we waited for our tour to begin. The gift shop prices are reasonable. Over all out was well worth the money and wait.

It a beautiful place. The cave was interesting. The two big qualms I had with Colossal Caves was bee season there were SO MANY BEES, and quick heads up if you go to the snack bar next to the gift shop don't get the pizza. The cheese tastes SUPER cheap, and the sauce tastes like ketchup with a vinagear added to it,and the crust wasn't very good either. Other than that the place itself has amazing hikes, and the caves were nice well temperatured. But serious about the bees though, I actually was swarmed, make sure you don't bring anything sugary!

Great tour! got kids? Go here! It's a walking tour so if unsteady hold off, otherwise go! 99 degrees outside, 70 degrees inside, dry and and an easy tour

Awesome place to explore! We went in the basic tour. It was about 45 minutes and very informative. It was easy for young children to get around. A lot of stairs but a very slow walking pace.

I think the name of our guide is Sean. He did an awesome job and made sure safety was the number one priority. My dad and I did the ladder day tour and we both enjoyed it. This is my first time in a "dry" cave so it was interesting compared to the others I've been to. Different formations are in this one than what you'd see in a wet cave.

We enjoyed the cave, it was a a cute and informative tour. Last approximately an hour. I would certainly go back for the ladder tour. It was a bit cool inside so I would bring layers just in case.
Then we went to the farm down the road. At first it seemed a bit too relaxed. However the owner is very kind and helpful. She helped me and my young brother become comfortable when we went horse back riding. She even took beautiful photos of us on the way and air dropped them to my phone. Nice location - the view from the entrance of the cave (by the gift shop) is awesome. The cave itself is interesting too (esp. if you are into these kind of things). The tour guides are very nice, helpful and friendly and they offer various tours with different durations. We recommend the 45 min tour, it is long enough and takes you about 7 stories deep underground and back up through various passages. Best part is, photography is allowed, even with flash. Temps in there are a comfortable 70F .. enjoy :)

Our family had a blast. Savanna was our tour guide and she was amazing. We also took the 45 minute trail ride and loved it. It was well worth the drive and money. I highly recommend this place.

The hours are published to close at 5 pm. Got there at 4 pm. They said they were closed. They should publish their closing time as 3 pm as last cave tour.
Our kids enjoyed the petting zoo, stables, and horse rides. Next time we'll skip the cave and go to the animals. The Ranch was great! Joyce was great!response / report this review -

Very interesting tour! The guide was very knowledgeable - with both hard fact and "fun" facts. The different types of formations were pretty to see but even more fascinating to learn from the guide how they were formed!

The cavern was fun and our guide was patient with our group of kids. The gift shop was nice. But I think the best part of it was the stables and petting zoo. Joyce showed us great hospitality and was amazing to our family. We enjoyed riding the horses, walking the ponies, and the petting zoo. We will definitely be back to the stables. The only reason i didnt give it 5 stars was because the museum was not open or the other attractions.

Some of the facilities are not in working order but the pony / horse rides are in full swing. The staff was awesome and encouraged the family to walk the area and look up close at the animals on site. The cave is a wonderful experience with friendly guides. The outdoor cafe has a good selection of food and prepared well. The gift shop is as expected. The whole experience is well worth it. Beautiful views as well.
