I took my son to his first game 12/23/17 and he had 2days previous broke his tibia. The first encounter we had was with the parking attendant (Damon). He gave us an option for closer parking to accommodate my son and help him gimp less. Everyone we encountered was so nice, friendly, accommodating, and eager to help in anyway they could. It seems like every staff member was eager to make sure my son was as comfortable as possible. The usher, Nate, was very friendly and took us to our car whenever we were ready; i did not feel rushed or a bother to anyone!! It was such a great experience! We had seats at the top (217 row N) but ended up sitting on the top deck so my son could comfortably sit in his wheelchair. I was very grateful for them!! I had dreaded going since my son's cast went the entire length of his leg. It was hands down the best experience we've ever hadcustomer service was 100% on! Not to mention that every seat in there is a great seat!

Not sure what it is like during a Penguins game But trying to get in to see Trans- Siberian
Going thru Security, the line was out the door and around the corner. They were only using 5 of 7 metal detectors.
It took at least 15 minutes to get in the door!!! I have No Problem going through Security!! But, I'm sure that PPG Paints Arena is making enough money to put a couple more Security Personnel on and use the other Two Metal Detectors to make it a little quicker to enter the Venue !

Brought my entire family to a hockey game. The entire experience was extremely positive. All the staff was friendly - from outside the arena to everyone inside. When I needed help, people were there to help. The arena was clean and the food was spot on. Plus, the fans were so respectful. I will definitely bring my family back again.

I have been to the Lexus hall for a Christmas party. I loved the evening view of downtown. The food quality was really good. Their mini burgers was so good everyone liked it. The prawn fries with the dipping, fruits salad, pasta followed by desserts perfect dinner. Their staff were polite and patient while serving food. The bar had a good selection too.

Been to multiple events at the arena, not a bad seat in the house. My favorite is seeing the penguins play & even if you have SRO seats you can still see the ice to have a great time. I would recommend it! Drinks are pricey but what do you expect from a sporting complex?

Nice arena easy to find your seats. Beer is a little expensive but you go to watch an event not drink beer. Event staff is helpful and friendly. Good selection food a little high priced but it's good.

One of the easiest areas to navigate. The staff is very helpful regardless of what you need assistance with. Have yet to find a "bad seat" to watch a hockey game in, at least in the upper area (above club level). Even at this level you feel like you're in the game, or maybe it's just the crowd. GO PENS!

We were at a concert. Acoustics were great. My biggest complaint is the steps 8n the seating are so step & there is absolutely no leg room. We were on the second tier. Walking down to our seats scared the heck out of me. My poor legs were aching by the end of the concert and I am only 5'0 tall. I felt so bad for the young man next to me because he was about 6'3..We were in the 4th row section 206. I guess the more people you cramp in there the more money you make but really? It is a very nice venue with a lots of places to eat.

We had great seats and loved walking around the arena seeing old and new Penguins history. Great atmosphere, and good in game experience connecting to fans during breaks as well. Only reason arena doesn't get a 5 star is we were not allowed to take alcohol to our seats from one of the bars right outside our section which doesn't make sense? I'm sure it's a health or safety thing but I found myself slamming drinks as to not miss more action!

A non smoking section would definitely get me to come concerts there at ppg. Going that long makes people very rushed getting out. And the prices for drinks are ridiculous. Come on.REALLY $ 10.00 for one $2.00 beer.. come onno wonder people don't go to many concerts anymore. Other than that, I must say the employees at each of sections before your seats were the most helpful and courteous and it was clean. But for that date price it should be. Roger Waters put on excellent show.

Them hosting my favorite sports team aside The entire staff is incredibly friendly, from the ushers to cashiers. Bathrooms are clean and plentiful. Plenty of parking provided and in the surrounding areas. Has amazing food service available including Burgatory bar and grill, as well as the classics (hot dogs, nachos, and even some local beers!).

My home away from home. This is the greatest arena I have ever set foot in. 95% of the staff is friendly. I have only been here for pens games but I'm sure it is great for concerts as well.

We attended the Red Hot Chili Peppers concert here, and it was a great time! The arena was easy to get to, and there's plenty of parking available. Every single usher, cashier, etc. couldn't have been more polite or helpful. Plenty of concessions and restrooms, easy entrance and exits ~ highly recommend. Pittsburgh is a great place!

PPG Paints Arena is the formerly named Consol Energy Center. It is a multi-purpose indoor arena in Pittsburgh that is the home to the Pittsburgh Penguins. I have been here for Penguins games, and more recently, Disney on Ice. I will focus on the more recent Disney visit for my review. We were there for the 7 pm Saturday night show, and access through security was very quick, easy, and they were very nice. I suggest not taking any bulky bags that take time to search. The facility is clean and signs to guide you to your seat are clearly marked. As adults who went without kids, we did want to have an alcoholic beverage, but they were difficult to locate. We found one snack stand selling beer in Penguins cups for $10 a cup. I realize since it was a children's show, alcohol would not be in abundance. I took one star off the review because the bathrooms are not clearly marked in every location. I am someone who does not like to be stuck in traffic. Therefore, I traveled from the South Hills (Library station) to Steel Plaza station (closest T station to PPG Paints arena) and walked the remaining distance (about 10 minutes). It is a very easy mostly level walk from the train station. PPG Paints arena is one of my more favorite venues due to its proximity to mass transit, cleanliness, and ease of access through security.
