Went to the Byham Theater tonight to see A Christmas Carol excellent show and to our surprise parking across the street was only $8 .
The musical Christmas carol was beautifully designed it's a wonderful theater. However, very chilly in there
Classic theater at the edge of Pittsburgh's cultural district. Ample parking in the nearby garages, and easy access to the theater itself. The age of the theater makes some shows a challenge, which means the acoustics aren't always up to par. Still, it's a great little theater that hosts a surprising variety of shows.
Saw Boney James there on Sunday. Two parking lots within a block of the theater at 8 and $10 respectively for covered level parking. Very easy to get to. Clean restrooms however they are all on the lower level. There are several Bar locations where are adult beverages can be purchased. If you have your sponsored sippy cup you can bring it into the theater during the show. It's a very nostalgic theater Great restoration and the lighting's pretty cool. This seats however are narrow. It's a small venue, seeing your favorite Entertainer,it will be a very personal experience, from anywhere on the theater.
Such a cute little theater. Try to sit towards the middle. It has more restrooms than the Benedum.
An older theater with a very good sound system. I have attended many concerts there and recommend only seats in the center section. On the left and right sections, you can end up sitting next to speakers or blank wall with no way to exit.
A lovely structure, but it needs some remodeling and upkeep. The stage has featured lovely shows of all kinds. The seating is nice legroom on the main floor, but the upstairs is for people of a lesser stature.
Enjoy the show!.
This is a grand, fairly well kept theater. It's a fine place to see a CLO production of "A Musical Christmas Carol." I liked the part when a cast member yelled at my friend Tim and told him to wake up, it's almost over! Hilarious.
Beautiful space. large audience. Good sight lines.
I had an amazing time at the musical Disenchanted! This is an older theater, not a ton of flair yet somehow still magical?!? The staff are nice and helpful. I will be back lol
Second time coming here. Always enjoyed it. The theater is small enough that even if you are sitting in the back rows you still can enjoy the show as much as if you are sitting in the middle. Beautiful venue, nice atmosphere, and beautiful paintings on the walls. It transports you in time.
Love this old theater. Just not the little old ticket police officers! When the theater is half full let us sit where we want so we can be comfortable and not feel like sardines please.
Pittsburgh's theater district gem. I don't think there's a bad seat in the house. Good selection of shows coming soon. Close to parking. Theater is old style classy and looks great. Seats are comfortable for your average person.
