If your looking for an evening of fine dining. This is the place. Everyone really enjoyed their meal. Cooked to perfection. Staff was so accommodating. Great atmosphere. A bit pricey. It was a special occasion. Even the chef came out and spoke to us to make sure we enjoyed our selections. Highly recommend.

We had our one year anniversary here this evening, it was a beautiful night! The service was spectacular, the food was phenomenal, and they made you feel special!!! Our waitress gave us a free dessert for our Anniversary, as well as wishing us a Happy Anniversary. The mood was relaxing, the price was right, everything was perfect! We will definetly be back and recommend them for any occasion or special day. The sirloin steak is absolutely amazing, it just melts in your mouth!!!!

One of the best restaurants in Western Pennsylvania. Highly recommended! Well worth the trip. Everything is homemade from scratch. You must try the crab cakes. They are phenomenal!

Our first visit to Clifford's absolutely lived up to what we've heard from friends for years. We started with their fresh baked breads and rolls, then had the delectable mushroom pinwheels appetizer, followed by a dreamy potato-cauliflower soup. Our entrees included perfectly prepared Rack of Lamb with wonderfully light scalloped potatoes and sweet carrots, and a Stuffed Cod (artichoke and spinach) with a light polenta and a lovely cream sauce. For dessert, Lime Cheesecake and Creme brulee. Everything was very high quality, no heavy seasoning, just flavorful food. The staff are just lovely people. Valerie, the owner/hostess was delightful and described the specials with such detail that you could almost taste them. Kristen, our server, was not only efficient, but genuinely friendly and added to our lovely experience. Finally, we have our new Anniversary restaurant!

What a hidden Jewel this place is! Real personal service everyone acts like they love their job and we liked that a lot. Food choices were plentyful, and if that's not enough you can mix and match any toppings, sauces or cooking methods. This is fine dining at it's best. Great food!

This restaurant is a hidden gem. The service and attention you receive is beyond compare. The food is incredible. Everything we have ordered has been delicious. The whole experience is just exceptional. The staff are always so kind and you are getting a high-quality meal. The Swiss potato appetizer is a unique meal not to be missed! The crab cakes are a favorite!

Delicious gem hiding away in the middle of nowhere. Outstanding service, delicious food, and reasonable prices. I don't have to go down to the Pittsburgh area for fine dining anymore. BYOB.

My families most favorite restaurant. This is a dining experience and much preferred over any of the fine dining places you could go to in the city. If I want to come back to this place just for the stewed tomatoes, let alone anything else, you know its good. The owner's mother always impresses with her hospitality and the waitresses always remember us even though we go maybe once or twice a year as it is a special treat. That being said, even though the sticker price may be high, its well worth it!

This is my 4th time at Clifford's.I have experienced wonderful service and food in the past.Tonight was very Different. I took my dad for his 70th Birthday celebration and 4 others who have never eaten here.I informed all of them ahead of time that this would be a very memorable experience both service and food. One they wouldn't forget. Our wait staff was unprofessional short with any questions and was absent for such exteded periods of time that I physically had to hunt them down twice for water and bread.I never mind waiting for wonderfully prepared food as long as you are cared for in the interim, which we weren't. After having such wonderful service and a great dining experience before to this awful experience is disheartening. I was horrified to see that She included a 20% gratuity in my bill. I nearly choked.I spoke with the owner / hostess and she did remove it as I requested and expressed that it was a bit overwhelming for this staff as she doesn't usually work on busy nights. I explained that we didn't just come to eat.we came for the full dining experience for a special day and never got what we came for..I understand that people have off days.But standards are standards..courteous professional attentive service..Is expected, especially with the high end price point of this restaurant. I would hope she gets more training in learning how to treat customers and That Clifford's should be an experience not just in food but in service too.Very disappointed!

Just recently found this spot. Have only been one time and must say it may very well be my new favorite restaurant in all of Pittsburgh. Feels very welcoming and family oriented. Food was absolutely fantastic.

Clifford's Restaurant in Evans City, PA is a very special place. From the time you are greeted by the owner, you are aware that a perfect dining experience is ready to unfold. Unlike the majority of restaurants, Clifford's menu is an epicurean's delight. Rarely will one come across food prepared with such care. The lamb chops, Veal and fish dishes are superb, to name a few. Also, the ambiance of the quaint restaurant is special as well.
