  I wish I would have read the reviews before allowing my teenage son to rent a bike from this business. He received no paper work (which seems to be a common occurrence there) and then our credit card was charged an extremely LARGE amount (way more than the peice of junk bike would cost to replace) because they considered it "stolen". I contacted them immediately after watching them pick it up from our condo and every time we spoke they were very rude, hateful, and made it obvious their plans to charge my card "daily" until it was "found". That was at the beginning of JULY and now months later I am still receiving charges from them. I consider this a "scam" on their part and hope that others will read this review and won't get caught in a trick bag as we did. We would have gladly worked with them if we thought the bike was truly stolen but every form of contact ended with rude and hateful responses on their part and we found them very difficult to deal with to say the least. BEWARE!

  We have been going to this area in Seagrove for over 20 years and used Butterfly Bikes. They have had new bikes in great shape. It appears to be a family run business. The owner helped an elderly man fix his bike for no charge so he could ride home. (We tried but didn't have the necessary tool.). It's right next to our condo so didn't have to use the delivery. Great place. Will use again next year.

  Price was better than many of the others and the pick up and drop off the bikes. We will be back great weekly rates too!!!!

  Awful Place that is operated by lunatics. Keep your distance from them or you will regret it. Should have read the reviews from other intelligent people before having to deal with them. Just a side note, their bikes are falling apart (Very DANGEROUS) especially since little kids are riding the bikes as well. If you want more proof, just read the owner responses on these reviews and look at the unprofessional (Street-style) language they use with past customers. Not to mention that we were stalked and harassed by them on social media shortly after we dealt with them.

  Terrible is not a good enough adjective to describe this place. If you haven't seen a sociopath before, this is the place to find one. Just rented a bike and ended up getting charged for a broken piece that wasn't my fault. Their equipment is faulty and hazardous. Best suggestion is to stay clear of this place at all costs. And this is a message to the local commerce authority, this business needs to be investigated and action needs to be taken to prevent them from doing things like this again. Terrible

  We have rented from Butterfly Bikes for 10 years, and keep going back because the price is right, service is great, bikes ride smoothly and the staff is very helpful. The friends and family we've referred to Butterfly have had great experiences too.

  My experience with Butterfly Bike & Kayak has been nothing but wonderful! It confuses me why there are such awful reviews on this business. I had amazing coustomer service! The lady that was there, I believe her name was Kara, helped me with everything I needed. The bikes we rented from them rode smoothly and everyone loved the memories we made while riding. I also love the family atmosphere they have.

  Haha! I was looking for a place to rent bikes for our upcoming trip. I'm so glad that I read these reviews first. It's not even what the reviewers are saying, so much as the owner's responses. Not only is the grammar, spelling, and punctuation (or lack thereof) poor, but it's also passive aggressive and overly emotional. I will definitely will keep looking. Thanks everyone!😊
