Stayed for a week. 180.00$ a week. Found a bed bug and it does have cockroaches. Noisy neighbors kids are out of control. Will be looking for a different place to stay. Cabel is always interrupted. Hopefuly after they finish the remodel it will be better. Sorry. This is my experiance at this place

I've stayed in a number of hotels and motels over the years but this place had to be the worst ever !! Found some kind of bugs between the sheets, not bedbugs. Took pictures of them, clogged filters on AC unit, stains on sheets and carpeting.
Unfortunately I couldn't drive away after having 3 beers and discovering the bugs.
I will report this poor excuse for a motel to the local authorities.

It won't let me post without a 1 stardidnt even want to give it that!!!
The cable was out, there were roaches so bad they were out in the day time!!! The room was a mess and sheets didnt fit the bed.
When we tried to check out early was told 'no refunds' Even with the legitimate complaints of roaches and uncleanliness! Very poor customer service!
Find another place to stay if you need to stay in Angola!!!

House keeping is a joke u have to make your own beds and put clean linen on yourself. Rooms are small, and there are cockroaches

Budgeteer is located in Angola Indiana We came here as a guest and the room we have is not equipped with a refrigerator or microwave and it's been 2 days now without a key. They told us on day one that they would have to get us a key and were still waiting for that key. Had taken our towels to the office and had told them we need clean ones and again were still waiting. On the flip side we ended up with one of the newer rooms. Nice little room for the price BUT they need to bolt down the toilet at least. Was afraid to ask for toilet paper thinking maybe we would get it 2 or 3 days later so just went out and bought some.

Well my wife and I are currently staying in room 25, we have been here for 2 nights now and not one bedbug bite or any kind of bug bite in fact! The room is clean, the bathroom faucet is backwards, but no big deal, the heat and air work great, owners whether read English or not are very friendly and professional, they are helpful and if you need anything cleaned they get to it right away, affordable especially when you are in the middle of moving! No roaches either, there is some late night traffic but hey, IT'S A MOTEL! ADJUST!

Visiting in Angola for a week, so wanted to "lighten the load" of room costs. Saw this place (and reviews) online & thought, "it can't be THAT bad." IT CAN. While talking to the lady about rates (the guy barely spoke English), a couple came in & demanded their money back due to roaches in the room. I asked if I could see the room first, and they let me. There was a huge roach/water bug on the doorstep, a guy was on the balcony spitting over the edge repeatedly, the door looked like it'd been kicked open, the room smelled like smoke & also had that wet/mildewy smell, it wasn't very well-kept, was very outdated, something was dripping in the bathroom, there was mold in the shower, and the parking lot just looked "sketchy". Not one who gets a thrill out of leaving a bad review, but you should know what you're getting into. I always try to include something niceat least the lady was cool enough to let me check it out first. I decided to go elsewhere.

I agree the rooms need improvement, however I'm looking for a house for rent or buy. I come from Hamilton, Ohio. It's way better than any cheap motel we have there. My fiancé lives in Angola, I've relocated to be with her. Knock it all you want, but at least they do monthly rentals at a decent price compared to the other 3 that don't. I wasted about $2000 on other motels over the last 2.5 months. If you treat the owners nicely. They're happy to work with you. Obviously others that reviewed this place, have never really seen a hard day in they're life. If your on a budget like me. And understand the demographics of Angola. It's working in a pinch for me. At least I'm getting to spend precious moments with my fiancé. So I'm grateful for this place, I couldn't afford to live here otherwise. At least I've got shelter. No it's not the Ritz. But what do you expect for in between homes and not being rich!!! It's cheap and livable And I'm not Trash either. I'd love to be rich and picky. I'm humble and greatful I've yet to be bitten by a bed bug. I do use my own covers. If you ask them nicely to clean something they will. It's all in how you treat people.
