Great customer service and prices!
They do things right at Brown. Great service with a smile. I trust them with my vehicles and you should too.
SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL BUSINESSES! Stop driving all the way to the big box stores in Merrillville to pinch a few pennie on tires. Brown Tire will take good care of you and you vehicle!
Had a breakdown on work truck. They were able to get me in & back drivable in a day when other people couldn’t even look at it for a week.
Always the best place to go! Staff is friendly and helpful. The place is always clean and they get you in and out soon as they can. This place is usually packed so it's best to call and make a schedule. I have noting bad to say. Highly recommend.
I would highly recommend Brown Tire! They were very professional and did an excellent job on helping me find some new Wheels and Tires. Todd helped me and was very informative and helped me pick the best all terrain tires. Will be back soon!! Thanks Eric
Called today and got a quote of $80 to simply install a valve stem for my tire. It's obvious that they don't want business. Go anywhere else, this place will rob you blind.
They we're really comforting and nice when I was having major trouble with my car. They we're attentive, helpful, graceful, and communicable. Shout out to Steve!
I had 2 tires blow out on Route 30 due to very large potholes. Today, years later, I paid a bill for over $600, because 3 of my rims were severely mishapenly bent. One was my fault and was a recent incident. The other two were from years ago from the pothole incident. No one at Brown Tire ever said my rims were severely damaged. They just put tires over the damaged rims and sent me on my way. There have been no other incidents or reasons for those rims to be damaged. Brown Tire didn’t do their job.
Addendum: In response to the response from Brown Tire, I never write a review that isn't true. I would never seek to harm a business out of some bizarre spite. What I originally posted was true. I was responsible for one of the rims being damaged. No other incident occurred except for the huge potholes on Route 30 that flattened my tires. My car drives absolutely fine now that the rims were replaced by Ed's Car Care Center in Fort Wayne. It's not that I was mislead, it's that you didn't carefully inspect my rims for damage. I can say that the flattening of the rims happened over time, but they were initially damaged to get to the point they were in when replaced in October, 2017. The owner of Ed's Car Car Center described them as completely flat in some places, and then round, and then misshapen. This doesn't happen from normal wear and tear. Those potholes tore those rims up, and your company didn't do it's job in inspecting them properly. The only way I knew something was even wrong with my car was the fact that the steering wheel vibrated horribly at a driving speed of over 60mph. Thanks to Ed's Car Center and it's owner, my car is now safe to drive. It's an irresponsible business practice to not fully inspect damage to the car being serviced, and it's ridiculous to blame to customer for your lack of attention to the job.

Went to replace all 4 brake pads last August (8/16) for almost $700. A steep price but I was okay with it for quality brakes and service. BUT 10,000 miles and 8 months later (4/16) my brakes were already worn and l pulsating whenever braking from 45+ MPH while causing vibrations in my wheel.
I got the back brake pads and rotors done elsewhere because something needed to be done and I wasn't in Valpo at the time.
I came back thinking they'd honor their work and get a discounted price on the front ones. Instead they quoted me at full price and said there was nothing they could do and that I need to pay full to replace pads and rotors AGAIN AS WELL as saying I need new front brake calipers. Quoting me at another $500.
I know it's rare for calipers to be bad and my brakes weren't sticking and weren't pulling the wheel (just pulsating and wheel vibrations). I went to another place got a second opinion and they said my calipers were fine. I ended up paying half price for more quality pads and rotors. My car is now driving fine.
This place tries to up-sell you on things you don't need, uses cheap materials, and is expensive. I won't be coming back.
We had exhaust trouble and pulled in late on a Friday (of a holiday weekend). Knowing we were headed out on Sunday for a cross-country road trip, they welded and repaired our exhaust system, For a reasonable price, and we were on the road. Saved us from a major road trip disaster. Highly recommend them! Thanks, Brad and Buddy!
Great quick tire repair.. was out in 25 minutes and they put my spare away neatly.
Best oil change in Valparaiso. Check their site for coupons.
Bought a set of new tires and had them installed. I has happy with the price and service. They were ready for my car at the scheduled time and had the work completed when promised.
Unbelievable service!
Had a major problem with my vehicle in that the transmission cooler totally went. I called them in the morning, before they actually opened, and they were able to get my car in that afternoon. As they dug into the problem, Steve kept me posted with their findings and options I had moving forward. Unbeknownst to anyone, the technician discovered a serious problem with my battery cables that could have potentially started a fire. Steve was quickly on the phone and informed of the situation. With the transmission cooler and battery problem they had the vehicle repaired and back to me within 24 hours.
Great Job!
