My sister will be having her wedding her next year. We stopped by to ask additional questions and take more pictures. The gentleman who runs the place was very accommodating and very nice. Beautiful place!

Was recently there for a wedding. Loved it! A rustic resort way out in the mountains with a breath taking view from the beach. It’s not a modern facility, it was built during the prohibition but it’s well maintained. No Verizon signal but the cabins and public areas have WiFi. It was so peaceful and relaxing. Perfect for weddings, receptions, family reunions or just want to get away from pressures of modern life.

Great place to go swimming. Remote and poor signal for phones even with Verizon. This place will get busy during weekends and holidays during summer/warm months.

We came for a wedding event. This is an outstanding venue with views, things to do, and organized well. We stayed in our RB, but there are cabins and soon-to-be yurts. This place is beautiful!

Brown Mountain Beach Resort is absolutely enchanting! It seems like just yesterday my wife Chelsea and I were meeting with Ron and Julie to discuss potentially having our wedding there. The first thing we noticed was how stunningly beautiful it was. Many other venues seek to artificially create the wonderfully natural look and feel that BMBR so casually possesses. Serene mountains are the backdrop for a series of unique, cozy cottages along the banks of a magnificent river. The second thing we noticed was what genuine and hard-working people lived and worked there. The entire staff is extremely friendly and making sure that you have an enjoyable stay is always their top priority.
Roughly one year after that initial meeting, Chelsea and I held our wedding at Brown Mountain Beach Resort. The best way we can describe it now, a month later, is that it feels like a wonderful dream that we will carry with us for the rest of our lives. Our closest family and friends stayed in the cabins from Thursday through Sunday; enjoying terrific weather, hiking on the nearby trails, and rafting up and down the river. We held a rehearsal dinner in the reception hall and Ron was extremely generous in allowing us free rein of the property.
The wedding itself was simply perfect! Julie served as our coordinator, transforming into Wonder Woman and turning all of our thoroughly planned details into a living, breathing reality. The resort staff leaped into action as our guests enjoyed a cocktail hour on the outdoor patio. Our ceremony and reception went exactly as we had hoped and imagined! We capped off the evening by roasting s’mores by the river. ;-) Many of our guests told us it was the best wedding they had ever been to! As for us, we never imagined how relaxing our wedding could be; an ideal getaway and celebration of love with the people we adore. I feel in love with the property the moment I arrived. My husband I just got married here last weekend. It was nothing short of amazing. The property has everything you could possibly imagine! Julie really made our visit memorable in so many ways. She will do anything to try and make things as perfect as possible for your stay, including entertaining the guests :). We hope to return for anniversaries and family gatherings in the near future. Ron, Wendy and Julie really make you feel at home and as if you are family with them while on the property. I can not wait to come back here and all of my guests feel the same!

Locally owned great venue for weddings every cabinet is different and unique give us free run of the entire property and do whatever you want to
