After a disappointing experience with a chain store that is an authorized retailer of Miele vacuums (I won't name names, but they are located just across the street from here), I came to this shop with a very specific question about 2 Miele vacuum models. The owner immediately knew the answer to my question in depth, and gave me a thorough answer. The vacuum was priced at or below MSRP (which was not the case for the other store). The owner even talked me out of buying an additional accessory, saying that it did not perform as well as those that come with the vacuum. I feel very confident about the information I received, and the expertise of this shop's staff, and am very pleased with my experience.

I replaced a motor on the power head unit. it was still noisy as a freight train. I took it in and they immediately found that the bearings on the bearings on the bar were worn out. Replaced just the bar versus buying the a new power head. Saved me a ton of money. Nice.

Brought a Kirby here for repairs. They charged me $25 to look at it and tell me it was shot, then saying I could trade it in on one of their new units that they sell. Took it to a Kirby dealer, and they fixed it as good as new for $40. Thanks for ripping me off Brookfield Vacuum Center!
I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone. On the contrary, I'd recommend NOT going here. My wife didn't even feel comfortable being there as she felt that the they wanted to do more to her than sell a vacuum.response / report this review -

What an ass. The brown haired man who works here is totally rude. I called ahead to make sure they would have parts for my brand. I brought the vacuum with me so I would be sure to get the right part. I needed a new belt, a 4.00 part. And got 2 filters since I was long overdue on those. Total 40 dollars. He went on and on about how horrible my vacuum was, pouting out all the dust particles that were on it. And that the cost of parts was about the same as the cost of a new cleaner. I'm pretty sure I cannot buy an equivalent vacuum to mine for 40. I said that to him and he literally rolled his eyes and walked away. I won't be back.

Whomever the brown haired man was that helped me was incredibly weird and flat out rude. I walked in and asked for a part and he immediately went into how horrible my vaccuum was for about 15 minutes. I told him several times I did not want to replace my vaccuum at this time and just needed the simple part. He couldn't understand that concept and again, kept going on about how horrid my vaccuum was. He suggested I buy a $200-300 new vaccuum vs a $40 part. After I told him I was on a time crunch and didnt want to do that, he looked at me like I was from another planet. Needless to say, they lost my business, and I found what I needed for half the price on Amazon. My vaccuum works like a charm. He should not be doing sales and should stay in the back repairing vaccuums. I will not be stepping foot in that store. Oh, I forgot to mention that when I called and asked if they repaired my type of vaccuum they laughed at me.
