The pediatric nurses, staff, residents and doctors were amazing! They were so helpful, kind and reassuring. From the moment I spoke to them to schedule my appointment to the moment I left the hospital, they were so amazing. What a wonderful experience!

Laying in the ER at Bronson right now, can barely walk 10 feet. They took a couple X-rays and discharged me, forced me to walk out of the hospital in stockings feet through snow. Just had emergency back surgery at Borgess, I was very close to being paralyzed and I will never be able to pickup anything heaver than 5 lbs the rest of my life. I feel like Bronson is somewhat culpable, had I been able to be seen by a surgeon 3 weeks earlier, I might not be in the position I am for the rest of my life.

Justice Bockover-Davis is simply one of the worst doctors i have ever had the displeasure of working with. The care I received here was abysmal and they had little to no care for their patient. It was minimal practice to get an individual in and out as quickly as possible with no real desire to help the patient specifically. There are better places to go for your care, I'd suggest doing the research to do so.

I have no problems with the nurses or physicians at the hospital or the hospital overall. I had an appendectomy there recently and the staff were amazing. However last night, I arrived via ambulance due to seizures. I arrived at the emergency room entrance via gurney and was helped into a wheelchair. I was there unattended, except for the emt Micha and their admissions staff. I began seizing again and fell out of the wheelchair. According to admissions staff, I threw myself out of the wheelchair. I would never do that in my right mind. The EMT and admissions staff then proceeded to hold me down whilst I was still seizing. Then forced me back into the wheelchair. They continued holding me down by force holding my chest. Then to demean me further the staff member said " Hey you we do not do this here". Do what have seizures and seek medical help? Gee, I do not know maybe instead of treating me like a criminal in jail they should have sought out a nurse or physician to assess me and give me medical attention. The care I received from that point on was great. I feel the entrance admissions staff should be educated on what a seizure is. I felt degraded and undignified.

My wife and I recommend Bronson for labor and delivery. The hospital where our other kids were born refused to take her for no valid reason, and that actually turned out to be a blessing. We found Bronson to be consistently respectful of our wishes, and their postpartum team members were all very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful.

Granted, we were asked quite a few questions (repetitively, in some cases) which were none of the hospital's business. But the staff was never judgmental, and in this day and age, I suspect that such questions are government-mandated anyway, rather than the hospital's idea.

4 hrs in the ER waiting room with a child with an appendicitis. Rude nurse working the desk when I asked because I was worried about my son's well being because I'm worried about it bursting. We were sent here from battle creek because of no pediatric units. Very dissapointed in the lack of concern and care for people. Ambulance is coming and just dumping people in the waiting room. This place is subpar to say the least. I'll be billing you for my time.

This is from 2007. I was admitted to 'observation' for heart palpitations. All kinds of appropriate tests were done over 4 days. When nothing was found I was accused of making it all up and told I had to leave the hospital immediately (at a time when I could not stand up). I now know I was experiencing electrosensitivity from all the wi fi in the hospital but I did not know that then, nor could they have known. Their treatment of me was terrible--especially the hospitalists. The nurses were great but the docs did not listen to them--again and again--arrogant young docs..

I had a terrifying experience with my son who is only 9 months and all of the nurses and Doctors from the emergency room to the pediatrics made me feel so much better. They updated me every step very quickly. They pampered and loved on my baby boy as if he was their own. They made sure he was comfortable and had everything he needed as well as myself. I couldn't be more grateful for them. They are truly heros in my eyes.

Get a case manager to talk to if your going to need anything after you get discharged. We got a new glucomator and all the other diabetic supplies. Perscriptions for the diabetic supplies, bandages, meds, and medical equipment. Also other information and services available.

Loved the hospitality and care I got from bronson hospital. The nurses were so nice and they did every test under the sun to figure out what was going on with me and they found it. When I had went to another hospital previously they couldn't figure it out.

ER was great dealing with my concussion. Sitting the waiting room for 2 hours after I was sent by ambulance from my doctor office was horrible but once sent back they did great. I did have to have a wall way "room" but they kept apologizing. The lights hurting my head and eye's so they put a towel over my eyes and made sure I always knew who I was talking too at all times. I had an concussion. I was sent home with great instructions and was referred to Bronson's concussion clinic which I got into with in 4 days.

The doctor I used to see at Bronson is excellent. However, her staff is unorganized and misinformed. For example, I needed to share some information with my PCP. The CMA at Bronson Neurology claimed over and over that my PCP had no right to the information because I hadn't filled out the paperwork. However, in My Chart it is clear that I had filled out the paperwork, and they clearly had been sharing information with my PCP up to a point. Then they stopped. I don't know why they stopped sharing, and neither does my PCP. I'll never find out because the "super sleuths" at Bronson are too lazy to look into it.

Friendly and kind staff, nurses & doctor. ER staff and doctor were all very accommodating. Went in for food poisoning and left able to make a 2.5 hr drive home alone. It's nice that their ER has separate rooms for each bed with walls and sliding glass doors rather than curtains so it's a little quieter than other ER's however there's always someone coming in and out of your room and the staffs walkie talkie system would drive anyone nuts including the staff, I don't know how they can focus on patient care with someone always chiming in. I cracked up, the nurse had to hang my IV bag from the ceiling mounted exam light to get it high enoughget these nurses some taller IV poles!

Excellent experiences with Bronson Hospital on many occasions with several different departments. Last week my mother was admitted to the adult medicine area (north pavilion). Mom is aged and that staff (everyone) was EXCEPTIONAL in every regard!

Nurses & midwives are not on point took forever to attend me, when I was about to deliver my baby its all about baby not me or people in the room there slow midwife kept checking on me every 2 -3 hours on my contractions & dilation one nurse was checking on me every 50min they either need more working there or the ones working there suck at there job need to be fired.. worst experience ever I don't like that hospital don't recommend it!

My daughter had to have a second MRI done as she moved too much through the first one, this one to be done under partial sedation. The nurses and doctor from the pediatric sedation area were really great. They understood her great freak outs about needles, and helped her through getting the small tube in her hand, and the MRI went well. I am always pleased with the service here.

I love how I am going to be charged up the ass for going to the ER because my tonsils almost swelled my throat shut and they gave me the wrong diagnosis and prescription. Pharyngitis is the easiest way of getting out of finding out what's actually wrong, they didn't even do blood work. I went to another hospital and within an hour they had done blood work, diagnosed me with Mono and sent me on my way with the REAL prescription I needed. The nurses were so nice, I just believe the protocol here is ass.
