We went on a Saturday morning to try Brisket's restaurant for breakfast. The serving was very nice and welcoming. I ordered the eggs benedict, often do that when trying a breakfast place I haven't. This is a good test. The English muffin was very soft and eggs cooked to perfection. I had them with the side of Irish potato cake, which was delicious, great taste of leak.

Good food, good beer, and decent prices when compared to everywhere else in downtown Redlands.

This was one of the worst experiences I have had at a restaurant. My girlfriend and I had been eyeing this place for awhile, and finally decided to stop in tonight. There were 3 other parties, two couples and a family of four, and we decided to sit at the bar. We placed our order (burger & brew combo for me and fish & chips and wine for my girlfriend). I ordered an 805 beer, and was told they were out. The 805 is one of the main advertised beers in their window. My girlfriend inquired about bread choices on the sandwich, and the waitress replied she would check for her. She ended up convincing my girlfriend out of the sandwich, stating it would have been soggy with any other bread (without checking if there was even an option). Another patron came in after we placed our order, and shortly after placed his order. He was served his drink immediately, while we still waited for our drinks. About 5 minutes AFTER he was served, we finally received our drinks. The other customer asked the waitress a couple of questions, and, each time, she barely answered him as she rushed away from the bar area. The other customer was served his food before us (our order was placed before he even walked in), and he had ordered the fried zucchini as a side, as did my girlfriend. The waitress came up to my girlfriend and explained the batter for the fried zucchini "wasn't working". "It just isn't working for the zucchini." My girlfriend went with the cole slaw instead. Our food finally showed up, and my girlfriends fish & chips was apparently OK for the batter, but it wouldn't have worked for the fried zucchini. As far as the food goes, the fish was completely bland, no taste at all, and my burger SUCKED. There was a grainy texture to my burger, which I thought might have been due to the cheese, but was something in the patty itself. The other customer asked us if her fish appeared fresh and battered or out of a box, and the waitress overheard this. She was quick to correct him that everything was fresh, but seemed to pick up an attitude towards him after this. Towards the end of our meal, the other customer asked our waitress if the same batter was used for fish as the zucchini, and inquired why it wouldn't work for zucchini but would for fish. The waitress replied "well, you got the last of it!" He then asked how it worked for her fish? She replied, "well, she got the last of it!" Her reasoning conflicted as to why my girlfriend could not get the fried zucchini as a side. I quickly asked for the check, and promptly left my card to pay. As my bill and card are sitting at the edge of the bar for her, the other customer asked for his check as well, and she took care of his bill before even touching ours. This was the second time that we were taken care of SECOND when we were there first, and asked for the bill first!

I will not come back to this restaurant, regardless of how enticing their lunch menu looks compared to their dinner menu (which consists of practically only burgers). The other customer started asking the waitress for recommendations, and her reply was "I'm a vegetarian. I'd be lying to you if I did answer!" Who hires a vegetarian at a place called BRISKETS?!

The cherry on top of everything: 2 minutes after we drove away, my girlfriend had me pull over because she felt sick and threw up all of her food!

I would not bother with this place if I were you. It was not cleaned (one customer was told to not sit at a section of the open bar because it was their "office area" and napkins and paperwork were everywhere), the service was horrible, and the food wasn't even good!

We ordered the French dip, pastrami sandwich, and kid's chicken fingers. All three plates were DELICIOUS! The side potato salad was superb, the fries were crisp and tasty. I could've drank the Au Jus alone for its amazing flavor. Our server was very friendly without being intrusive. Will be returning again!

Way over priced!! We paid $13 for a ham sandwich that should have never cost over eight bucks. Food was ok. It's the prices that are hard to swallow.

This place provides great service with homemade food. I've been coming to this place for 15 years and always ordered the same cornbeef hash with Irish potato.
