It is great that you can be literally a foot or two away from the Falls. It is a much different perspective being at the top and looking down than seeing the Falls from a distance. Well worth the $0.

My family always found the American side of the Falls to be a bit boring, but viewing the Bridal Veil Falls up close is a very memorable experience! It is worth the money to go down and see it from up close. If you choose a really hot day, it feels wonderful to get sprayed by all the mist. You will never look at the "small" Bridal Veil Falls in the same way again! I very highly recommend it.
