Good atmosphere with an upstairs that looks on the street beloe. Food was good and the service was normal. Bacon wrapped meatloaf was burnt on the bottom. The crab cakes were amazing.

Not good. Service poor to fair. Long wait from order to serving. Soup lukewarm. Gravy for fries barely lukewarm. Five meals. Four out of five brought to table. One incorrectly prepared. That one sent back
One of three remaining needed a fork. Remaining two meals arrived ten to twelve minutes later. Fork for one of original three had not arrived. Coffee lukewarm. Probably won't be back. "Well Pano, how do you do it?"
    "Not very well!"

Great restaurant with a great menu. Staff should be able to speed up the serving time. Their coffee is ok. The staff is courteous. I would like to point out that I will give the Host 5 stars. She is a very pleasant and knowledgeable of her duties , and she is fully bilingual.

We were there tonight. My friend and i had the Cajun Blackened Grouper and it was delicious !! Best fish i have ever had. The mashed sweet potatoes were so good. Love the salad that came with the dinner. My husband had the Battered fish fly and he loved his meal. The service was great and i love the atmosphere. Been there two other times and never had a bad meal. Can't wait to go back !!

Fantastic food and typically service has been good but it was clear they were understaffed. When one of the servers left the others fought over the remaining tables and unfortunately that meant waiting to pay, waiting for boxes, and I had to request a refill for coffee with my bill after waiting for that all while my daughter gets restless. Usually we time it out that we she doesn't get to that point. At that point Denny's would have been more attentive.

People of every age and ethnic group patronize Pano's for its excellent comfort food. Breakfast is served all day. Wine and beer are available. Service is excellent. There is often a wait for a table because of Pano's popularity.

So the food is always good at this establishment, but the service is enough to keep me from wanting to return. 2.5 hours to eat and pay is unacceptable. I will say that everybody was pleasant, but the slow service has got to be corrected. It literally took 15 min after being seated before we actually spoke to our server. Good food and atmosphere, but there is a lot of room for improvement.

Went on restaurant week for the first time and they have an amazing steak! The atmosphere is cozy! Very low key environment; the wait staff doesn't Rush you through dinner. They check up on you and leave you alone for a while. Other places we've gone to check up on you constantly which made us feel we needed to hurry so they can get their next table. Definitely worth giving this place a try.

The food was delicious. The atmosphere was great. I enjoyed the service. Like others have pointed out, you might have to wait a bit for your food. My suggestion, don't skip appetizer or don't go there when you're extremely hungry. Otherwise, the place, location, food, everything is great.

I've eaten here three times during my time in Buffalo and I must admit, the food is delicious! Ok here are the cons: Trying to eat in is a bit of a hassle because the wait for a table can be quite extensive, even when you order for pick up, you may still have to wait for your food which doesn't make sense especially if you give them ample time to make it. This happened when a friend and I ordered the same thing but they forgot my order and we had to wait for them to make it while his was made and got cold as a result. Also the food here is a bit pricey, which a bit annoying because I don't feel like its the type of spot to charge prices that high.

Great food. I've NEVER had a bad meal here. Portions are generous, you won't leave hungry.

Pano's is painstakingly average, and not really befit for an area with otherwise great restaurants. The wait for lunch was 20-30 minutes, but so many tables were empty. The staff could have done a much better job with clearing tables, which they were slow at the entire meal. While the menu has lots of options, there's a lack of creativity and Greek food, making it about as authentic as any other family diner. Our food wasn't bad, but it wasn't anything special or worth the price. However, my Greek salad was just sad. It was filled with random ingredients, none of which should've been in there. It even took five minutes just to get the dressing. Do yourself a favour, and pick somewhere else.

The food seemed overpriced for what we got. I had ordered "Cajun style grouper" and the portion was a light snack for me, and I am not in any way a big eater, since I usually have leftovers at restaurants.
They should at least post calorie counts next to the meal to give you an idea of portion size.

Other than that, the atmosphere is nice, especially on the second floor, where our have a nice view of the Elmwood strip.
