The staff is super friendly and polite. The place is giant, so the crowding factor was limited, which was nice. The craft beer options were not as good as I'd heard from other people. The beers were either very bitter or too bland. I haven't tried them all, so I can't really judge that fairly. The food was pretty decent and inexpensive, but the atmosphere was a mixture of corporate fake quaintness and older folks looking at cell phones. A lot of people really enjoy this place, so it could easily just be me.

Beer was ok, but warm. The food order was wrong. Once we got the food it was cold. Waitress never apologized for incorrect order or cold food. They were not busy, so I can't explain all the issues. I came here with relatives as I was visiting from another state. I will not go back to this restaurant.

Brick Stone is one of those micro-breweries / restaurants that really has done that mix well. The atmosphere is warm with a touch of elegance. The staff is friendly and the food is top-notch!
The price is a bit on the high side, but you get your money's worth. The in-house beers are good and they always have deals going on.
Another side note: they focus on American style burgers, steak, and chicken, but they do some other types of cuisine very well. The pork flautas my wife and I had were delicious and just enough for two!
They also have larger tables available for larger parties.
With all those things, it's little wonder why they have been around for years!response / report this review -

Excellent beer, good food, and great service. They accommodated our last minute family reunion party of 24 on Saturday night by opening their back room for us. Highly recommended!

Brick Stone is great. They have a wonderful burger that is put between two Grilled Cheese. Everything I have had on the menu has been fantastic.

Beer is good. Food leaves a lot to be desired. Atmosphere is pretty good, but the place is kind of dirty.

This is our favorite bar. The burgers are good. The beer cheese mac and cheese with bacon is good add chicken to make it better.

My wife and I have gone here multiple times now and have had great experiences all times. The first time we tried the flights to get an overall idea of what types of beer they brew. Not all my thing but that's why there is variety. A few I really liked. Last time I had the 557 lager. I prefer lagers and my wife had the apa. All food every time has been good or better. Service every time has been great considering how busy they usually are. We drive in from New Lenox to come here which is not far but definitely not around the corner. We will be back again for sure.
