  Horrible experience here! My sister came from out of town to wanting to celebrate her birthday with me in Dallas. It was busy so we're excited we chose the first available seating! We finally get a seat 45 mins later and taken to the rooftop while we sat for another 30 minutes in the Dallas sun before we were even asked for water! We asked for water with lemon. 20 mins later we received water no lemon. A big group of a different race sat next to us and immediately greeted with muffins and asked what they wanted for beverages. At this point we didn't even know you got muffins. We waited another 10 minutes before I got up and asked for the same thing. 15 minutes after waiting for complimentary muffins. The big group next to me was placing their order. Livid at this point I tell my sister let's go! The waitress watched us walked off and continues to take orders she didn't even care. I will never recommend this specific location to anyone! Especially if you LOOK like you don't belong in the area! And after sharing my story I've found out I'm not the only person this has happened to!

  Such a neat space with stairways and rooms magically leading to other rooms, including an outdoor patio and a rooftop bar area. Service was welcoming and helpful. Meals were delicious, nice wine selection, and the generous pie slices were stellar! Sunday evening was calm, no wait, and quite nice for a dinner for two. Well worth a return visit.

  I went on a slow Sunday, luckily for me because we only had to wait 20 minutes for 2 people. Sometimes the wait can be up to an hour for 2 people alone. The food here is amazing and I see why they are known for their Chicken & Waffles. You have to try the Cinnamon bun, or the Honey Crunch French Toast, or one of the Egg Scrambles w/ the breakfast potatoes! You know what, just try it all!

  Great food. Our server was wonderful. We sat on the patio and our first table, the music was too loud out of the speakers to hear each other talk. We moved and it was better.

  We loved the old building and small intimate dining rooms at Bread Winners. I had heard so much about the chicken & waffles from reviews I just had to had to try them. Unfortunately, I don't know what all the hoopla was about. They were just okay....I would not order them again. We both felt the menu items were overpriced. There are too many other breakfast places to try. So far, we have found Luckey's to have the best breakfast in Dallas!

  Love going here for brunch. Sometimes the service can be a little lacking (seems to be due to shift changes) but the Chicken & Waffles and Eggs Benedict have become my favorite dishes. Got to try their Pork Belly Sliders for dinner awhile back and those were delicious. They have some of the best sauces (hot sauce, gravy, mayo)!

  Two stars down for the valet alone. We asked where self parking was. He directed us to a paid parking lot across the street. We're new to the area and trusted his word. We learned that there was a free lot right next to it.
  
  The restaurant itself, excellent food, excellent service. We visited for Sunday brunch. It was super busy but they've got plenty of tables and waitstaff. I believe our weight was about 10 minutes.
  
  When you visit please give the valley the finger for me.

  Wonderful brunch spot! Food and service is top-notch. Only negative I could give is that I wish their outdoor seating area on the lower patio had umbrellas as there is no shade otherwise. I had to request moving moving inside because the sun got so intense during our meal.

  The banana foster waffle was great, I'd recommend only going with a half order as it might be TOO sweet. The chicken and waffle is pretty good, saw it recommended online and it wasnt bad. The jalapeno gravy is what makes it good. Loved that its dog friendly

  After we got a table we went unattended for 15-20 minutes while a table that sat after us was quickly served. Then when we were finally noticed the server said "sorry but it's not my fault they didn't tell me you were here." Do you have eyes? Then we put our orders in (I did enjoy mine-which is why I rated 2 stars) but my friend asked for bfast tacos with no egg. She gets an egg scramble and no tortillas in sight. I ask the server if those were eggs "no, I don't know what those are but they aren't eggs." Uhm? We are getting our checks as we write this, so upset that I'm sitting here typing this as we wait to leave.

  Lovely venue. Love the waiter there name Gar! He was more than attentive and with a flair! Food was fantastic! I highly recommend this place. Parking behind the restaurant is a plus.

  Be prepared to not have to eat for the rest of the day. I had a waffle with fresh cream on top. I thought I'd had fresh cream before. Nope. This was so good I thought I was going to die of happiness. And it was MASSIVE. And I haven't even gotten into the adorable building and general decor. Loved this place.
