Awesome shop. Reasonable prices and friendly, helpful staff who can fix anything. I've been taking my family's bikes here for tune-ups and repairs for 3 years. When I need advice, they go above and beyond to help me out. Everything a good local bike shop should be. They sell great bikes and parts too!

The only place I take my bike in Fort Collins. Even though they are a business first their focus is to get you on two wheels. Whether that is finding a used part for you or simply bending something back in place they’re not going to screw you. They just want you to ride!! I always know I’m going to get an honest opinion here and the expertise is immense! Great place to go with ANY question regarding bikes and they are very friendly. Best bike shop in Fort Collins. Hands down.

I found a great refurbished bike that was originally from the 70's. I use it as a commuter bike for around town. The staff are fun people to chat with since they have much knowledge about all things bikes.

Best shop in town! The crew at Brave is always willing to help out and answer questions. Best selection of bikepacking bags in Northern CO, killer beer selection, and a handsome staff to boot. We'll be back for sure!

It is so important that we give positive kudos when they are due. I stopped in to Brave New Wheel on a whim while riding through town yesterday. I wondered if they would take a quick peek at my brakes, as they were a hair out of adjustment. While I am comfortable completing most rudimentary maintenance items on my car, bikes intimidate me and I almost always make them worse.

They took my bike in immediately without an appointment and adjusted my brakes on the spot, which they didn’t have to do. Exceptional service, truly service with a smile and it cost me $10. I will be giving these folks my business when it comes time for a tune-up on my new bike.

Only place out of three with the part I needed in stock. Both times.

Would not recommend. And here is why. Please read.I'm going to try to give purely facts. I've had 2 experiences with this bike shop. Both have not been pleasant, but I'm going to focus on the 2nd. Alright so I went in to get some toe straps. Found the ones I needed. Bought them. My total was $23.00. I went outside and no more than a minute later came back in because they didn't fit. He said he could only give me in store credit. No big deal. So after about 15 min of looking around I started this conversation with one of the workers there. He mentioned they have cranksets (the arm and gear your peddles are attached to) so I bought one. It was $20.00. I used the tools that they had available to disassemble my peddles until I realised I needed a socket. a wrench simply wouldn't fit so I walk in and ask the guy that was out and about if I could use one. He simply said no and walked away. This would not so bad if one of the tools that was needed to do this wasn't a $10 tool that you use once. But he wouldnt let me use a single socket. So I went to Lee's just down the street and they gave me the tools right away. Go there. Do not go to brave new wheel. They have horrid customer service .

Knowledgeable, realistic prices, and they stand by their work which is top quality. Great atmosphere too, super welcoming and relaxed. They make even the novice of bikers feel comfortable. I had them tune up my bike for Spring and it felt like a brand new bike! Always my first choice in bike shops.

Had my tryke tuned up and refurbished after several years exposed to the outdoors, and it runs great! rode it 6 miles home no problem! Couldn't be happier with the small investment it took to get it up and running. Friendly staff and quick turn around too for how busy I know they can get!

I only let BNW work on my road bike. They treat it like they would their own bike and let's be honest, most of us baby our rosd bikes. They aren't out to take you to the cleaners on things you don't need or ridiculous prices. They don't have a big, fancy shop they need you to fund! For example, I thought I needed a new chain and they advised that I had many more miles before I needed one.
They are knowledgeable, fast, very fairly priced, and always have a smile. They never act arrogant or superior when I have a question about my bike, unlike the owner of another small bike shop in town.
I appreciate Nathan and the crew. They introduced me to Lizard Skin wrap for my bars last summer. Best tape ever. Try it! It looks brand new and feels incredible after hundreds of miles.
If you've been looking for a great shop, look no further. These folks are the best wrenches in town.

Brave! The least intemidating and most helpful spot to have work done or learn about your bike. Can even just grab some parts, beer, and hang.

Awesome service! Walked into their shop in the afternoon with my front tire and wheel in handhad a problem with it I couldn't fix at my apartment. Both mechanics were busy with full bike rebuilds. One of them completely stopped what he was doing and helped me out immediately. Had it fixed for a low price quickly. Again, great customer service!! I would choose them over anybody in town.
