Really enjoyed myself skiing here right before Christmas. The village and the staff treat this place like a first rate ski resort with greeters, nice shops, courteous staff on the hill, and at the lifts. Parking and transportation are pretty easy. Prices seem reasonable.

Went for skiing, was great but most of the black diamond runs we're closed. Not cool. I ski green that was excellent. The others in my group we're not happy. The services were excellent. Still we liked nubs nob better all around.

We've stayed here multiple times, enjoyed it. This most recent time there was an issue getting our condo ready in time. We weren't able to check in for at least 6 hours after arriving -- and then the lock on the door needed replacing so we couldn't close the door securely until the next day (when security and repair guys both showed up, at separate times, to collectively fix the problem). We were not accommodated by Boyne or given any comps from management -- which was frustrating. A coupon for a meal, or a pass for the arcade or avalanche bay would have gone a long way towards helping us keep our kids from going stir crazy while we waited to get into our room. Will we be back? If we are tagging along with friends who want to go there, maybe.

Staff was not so friendly at the front desk. Facilities/cabin were nice, but renting out a space above a permanent resident didn't make a whole lot of sense. I brought a youth group, so we were a little loud/rowdy and weren't even aware of someone else living in what more or less amounted the the basement of the place we rented.

Room was recently renovated. Shower took over 4 minutes to get hot water. Toilet seal was new and leaked periodically causing a squeak. Easy to close the door and ignore. Stairwell was closed due to new stone being placed. Pretty as always. It rained. Price was great. Staff were amazing. Room was very clean.

I thought the rooms were really big and easy to maneuver. I enjoyed the watermark and the lift up to the top where I could look out at the beautiful scenery. I only wish that the rooms had microwaves and bigger showers. Other than the that, I had a splendid time there.

Boyne Mountain had such an INCREDIBLE view in the fall! Everyone employed there was very polite and the service was great. The beds were incredible and soft! It was like sleeping on a cloud!

Stayed at this hotel at the Boyne Hoff and it was very disgusting and smell bad sheets were stained with blood and the mattress was moldy and torn the bathroom smell like urine. We were reassigned to the Boyne Mountain Resort which was cleaner and smell better I don't know but the AC didn't work I might just be dumb though. Overall the place is costly the more money you spend the better experience you get. I would bring your own towels because I got ringworm after staying here now I'm left diseased. The spa is overpriced and the food is overpriced too. But thankfully they had very nice and considerate staff that helped us but I don't think we can do anything about the ringworm.

Boyne mountain has been a good trip. I had been attending a tennis event and was able to see the hotel and lodge. The inside of the hotel features a cafe and restaurant. The cafe was quick and easy, as well as served Starbucks coffee. They have multiple floors. It is located directly next to the resort and you can walk to the mountain's restaurants within 3 minutes.

A nice local place to ski with your family. The price is a little overpriced, but if you live in the Midwest, this is the best mountain to drive to.

Very disappointed. We stayed at the Edelweiss Lodge. One of my suitemates walked down the stairs of the lodge outside, the step broke, and he fell down the stairs. Then my 2 suitemates got clotheslined by some ropes at the bottleneck of one of the trails since the they could not see the ropes during the night session. One sprained his wrist, the other sprained his hand. Luckily they did not break any bones. The manager at the Grand Hotel reservations desk was not hospitable. We went to the Clock Tower reservations desk, and the lady there refunded our stay. Will not ski/snowboard Boyne again.

Keep looking. This place is horrible. Our family bought us a week here for our honeymoon. We arrived to a stinky room and much smaller than we anticipated based on the price they paid. Overall the place was rundown. We stayed in the Boynehof part which is supposed to be dog friendly.

I don't think this place was dog friendly, it wasn't even people friendly. Almost every person we came into contact with was rude and uninformed. Most questions were answered with I don't know or I don't think so.

The food was mostly bad. The omelettes and waffles were the only thing I could actually finish.
The shower sounded like a motor boat and the air conditioning worked part time.

Half way through the trip they started ripping off our roof which made our dogs go crazy and have panic attacks. We called the front desk and they refused to move us. So we left. Thankfully, the remaining days were credited; however, they refused to credit anything else even though they ruined our honeymoon. There are so many other places to stay.

We were at the resort for the Lutheran Women's Missionary League convention and stayed in the Clock Tower. Our room looked just like the picture online. The rooms in that building have all been remodeled and are fresh and clean. I had read other reviews about bad smells and cleanliness. I only found two places with issues: the hallway of the Clock Tower smelled musty upon entry (our room was fine) and the ladies' restroom at the Matterhorn conference room had leaking toilets and smelled worse as the days went on. The staff was very friendly and helpful in all departments. Due to the large number of attendees, our dinners were changed from buffets to sit down. The banquet staff did an outstanding job of feeding well over 300 guests in EACH dining room. The food was excellent - especially the caramel cheese cake and death by chocolate cake! I have worked at another resort and know the challenges they face with such huge groups. The lack of elevators presented problems for some of the older ladies, but we were warned ahead of time by the resort. If the ventilation issues could be addressed, this resort would rate five stars in my book.

Wish I could give them zero stars. This place is a dump. Something straight out of a horror movie. Rooms were dirty and old. Beyond that the management is incompetent. Turned the heat on 3 buildings because of 1 complaint. Currently 90 degrees in my room and they refuse to move me because the rooms they have available are too expensive to move me too. Employees are not only incompetent but untrained. Maybe send the person who complained it was too cold some blankets, not turn the heat on in the summer. Beyond that give them instructions to turn their blower off. Paid over 1000$ to go to a conference not to mention the hundreds more to stay here. I will never stay here again. My hotel floor is filled with overgrown frat boys who came to golf. They are yelling and peeing off their balconies. Front desk won't answer my calls or send someone up to ask them to quit exposing themselves. First time here and I will never be back. Guess I assumed because of the name, there would be some quality of service. Man was I wrong. Wish it wasn't close to midnight or I would check out now and find another hotel. Can't wait to leave this nightmare.
