Our food was amazing, my husband and I left very full! I knock this down one star because of the service we got. We had an appetizer and were not given plates or silverware. Our waiter was slow with drinks and didn't even bring out our salads. However another waiter there was amazing and picked up our waiters slack. He brought us silverware and our salads and was very friendly. We probably would have ordered more drinks if our waiter had been more attentive. The food was amazing and the atmosphere is really cool.

Delicious scratch recipe food. The coarse grind NY Steak Raviolis and sauce is to amazingly delicious! Great cocktails and desserts and very good and attentive service. I had a top shelf Margarita and a the Chocolate Torte. Reagan was our server and she is cute, bubbly, attentive, and will make sure your drinks and food are a great experience. Definitely recommend!

Stopped here after a long day on the road and in the air. They have an extensive list of bottled beer but their draft list is small (4). I had the salmon and it was very good, albeit a hair undercooked. Their sweet potato yucca mash was awesome and I wish I could've ordered a bowl of it. The salad that came with my fish was also pretty good and the jalepeno dressing was unique.
Overall, I'd go here again just for the cool decor.response / report this review -

Good food. Interesting place. It seems like a hole in the wall restaurant with gourmet foods. They do a great job making the food and the presentation is great as well. They have a very very large selection of beers and wine to choose from.

We stopped in for dinner after going to Mackinac Island. It was possibly the best meal we ate on our 2 week vacation. We ordered 7 different meals, not a single complaints. I had the salmon with roasted vegetables and the house salad with the jalapeño vinaigrette. The salmon was perfectly cooked, the vegetables were still crisp yet cooked and the salad was outstanding.

My all time favorite restaurant in Gaylord! Bar none! Everything is just so amazing! The food is phenomenal! Each bite is a burst of delectable flavor that just explodes in your mouth! The head chef, David Nash, makes it a point to come and talk to you and Bernice is my absolute favorite hostess! The staff is so friendly and goes out of their way to make you feel like family. Everything here screams perfection. It's just so cozy you don't want to go home because you're already there! I just can't say enough about this place!!!

Fantastic, artistic, and absolutely delicious! If, like me, you cringe at the idea of spending more than $10 for a plate of pasta, please understand that this is not ordinary pasta. The pasta I had was beautifully presented with the most delectable sauce that was rich without being too heavy. It was absolutely worth it for the amount of craftsmanship and love you get with each dish.
I also am not big on salmon but I thought I'd give the smoked salmon a try and I did not regret it one bit. Not to mention the amazingly comprehensive beer, wine, and cocktail lists!response / report this review -

Delicious & creative food! Locally sourced, innovative, vegan options available. Not only were all the entrees my party of 4 ordered delicious, we also had the chance to sample several options the chef was considering adding to the menu. Staff was very knowledgeable about the offerings. Decor was *actually* whimsical & eclectic & utterly delightful.

An interesting and fun place, with a bit of personality! Our food was great. We enjoyed the roasted corn salsa with chips. It went really well with the top shelf margaritas we ordered, which also tasted great. Wait staff was friendly, service was quick, and the food very enjoyable. I'm sure my wife and I will be back next time we're visiting family in the area!

Poor customer service experience. The waiter (?) wanted all our drivers licencesfor some reason, which even he couldn't explain why! The menu was very poor, with limited selections. Poor experience.

Although priced higher than most local eateries this is a bit finer dining. The food is quit good. I admittedly tend to eat at odd hour and have never had a problem with service either. I would recommend the Bearded Dogg
