It was okay. Room was nice had some issue's such as the hair dryer didn't work the drain in the shower didn't work had to play with it to get the water to drain. Most of the outlets didn't work. The hot tube was by far gross smelt like a lake and the back door wouldnt stay closed. Other then that the employees where very friendly. The park was great for kids.
This hotel was a super discount compared to others in the Boulder, CO area. It was clean, the rooms were large, the beds and pillows were comfortable, and the location was just 15 min from downtown Boulder. It's located in the midst of a nice, quiet residential area. It is quaint and cozy. They are in the process of doing some updates, but the hotel is well maintained. The only issue we experienced during our 3-day stay, was that the power outlets around the sink area were not working, causing the blow dryer and mini coffee pot not to work. However, there were enough other outlets in the room to make due. The rooms were adequately sound proof, and it was quiet and peaceful both day and night. The continental breakfast was ok. There were boiled eggs, which was a nice addition. We recommend this hotel if you want the best price for comfortable accommodations. We would definitely stay here again.
A perfect place for a stay in Colorado for Hiking, Biking or just a vacation in the area. Great hospitality and very nice and helping staff of the Hotel. Amazing sightseeing, nature and relaxation. Easy to get to anywhere you want. Highly recommend
Family owned and operated. I adored a 4 day stay in this quaint hotel. thank you very much "Inn Keepers"! i look forward to seeing you again on my next visit up. Julie Ann Righteous Ink Tattoo and Supply Fort Lauderdale, FL
This is the first time I've stayed here and everything looks nice. I haven't gotten into bed yet since I got here fairly early but I've heard the beds are soft. I'm not too keen on soft beds but I can't make the choice on the type of bed management decides to get. I'm curious if Boulder Twin Lakes Inn has weekly rates..
This is my second stay at the inn. I love this place. Yeah, this isn't your usual national chain motel but it IS a local slice of what makes this area unique. My compliments to the owners and staff. Comfortable, clean, quiet, and affordable. See ya next trip.
They do have some issues. The front desk is not manned at all times but there is an innkeeper on site at all times, unfortunately the number to reach the inn keeper simply didn't work (delayed check-in by 30min). When I did find the innkeeper the room reserved for me was never "updated" as being clean but they assured me it was (trash in the can and a damp towel on the shower curtain) But despite this it is a well equipped and quiet old-fashioned inn. Would stay again.
This was a great inn! The people were nice! The room was great! The right amount of linens, which is rare! When I went into the room 1 light wasn't working they came right in and fixed it immediately! I give them a thumbs up 👍!
It's old and dated but has a real charm that, in my opinion, makes up for what it lacks in modern amenities. The front desk lady was SO sweet when I checked in and let me come in much earlier than check-in. I do think there may be some updates needed--the bathroom smelled quite strongly of mildew. My room faced the lobby and breakfast room so it was a little loud but at night very quiet to sleep in. For the price I definitely think it's a good place to stay, seemed very clean and homey. Don't come here thinking you're getting a luxury hotel, you shouldn't as the price doesn't reflect such. I would definitely stay again
Obviously not a high class hotel, but it was very comfortable. Had a very at home feeling. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The have a large kitchen to cook your own food in and a BBQ out front to use. Is kind of in a neighborhood with a nice walk way along a river /marsh which makes for a comfortable and quiet atmosphere. Also had bikes to borrow to go for a light cruise around town.
Everything was clean, rooms are spacious, but it's not an "original" hotel building, it's like apartments made hotels so the distribution in the room is quite rare. The thing that can really be improved in here is the smell, the lobby is fine, but the moment you enter the breakfast room and the bedrooms smell isn't nice.
Besides these, i would recommend id you are looking to be in the boulder area with reasonable prices.
Very cute little place! Locally owned, nice size rooms, continental breakfast was very good, especially the coffee! The view is very nice as well
It was alright for the night. I wouldn't want to stay more than a night though. Its kind of an odd place. You pick up an envelope with your key for checking in. The front desk left around 6 pn and there wasn't someone there when we checked out at 7pm. Odd little place; comfy bed, large rooms but the decor looks old
We had friendly service and our room was clean, which is all we need! They had a great tea selection in the breakfast room, nice light options for breakfast. It is close to some breweries and restaurants. The only drawback is the hot tub wasn't very hot, but it could have just been the temperature setting being too low. We would definitely stay again if we were in the area.
Room was extermly spacious, with amenities that make it feel super homey. Room was a bit dated inside but not in a bad way. They seem to be family operated and is a great place. I would definitely stay here again.
