Very good food and the service is excellent. The menu prices are a little high for casual dining but the atmosphere is very nice and high class. I would definitely go again!

Always great food and service. I noticed recent upgrades in the menu. The food has improved significantly in the last few months. Best coconut cake in town, sometimes not on the menu so make sure to ask for it. Bottega cafe is way more fun and has better food than bottega restaurant in my opinion.

Consistently very good. Can't rave on the menu too much because I get the same thing every time. Chicken and presto pizza. Thin, crispy and perfect taste every time.

Great atmosphere and our waitresses was professional and helpful. Food was very mediocre, finding a hair in my bruschetta😢 Pizza ok but nothing special either. Calamari very good. Peach black, couldn't see much apart from a very disturbing street light. I definitely would review the menu, basic and still poor quality ways. Is this one of the best cafes in Birmingham??

This place is elegant, good food, and the waiter we had was wonderful. The only problem I do have that the host seated us all the way in the corner where the kitchen was. We were the first person at the restaurant and they should pay more attention why we reserve a table to eat there. I did mentioned when I reserved that it was my birthday. Also, the deserts were to sweet, to be an Italian restaurant, I think sweets in Italy are not like sweets like America. I do like the appetizer I have eaten, and the main menu I had was alright. Would recommend this restaurant for others to try, but I would not want to eat there again.

I loved my food, but our primary waitperson was missing in action most of the night. The waiter from the other area served us more than he did. He never came to check on our drinks or refresh them. Everyone else look to have great service but I found ours lacking. Personally, If I could have I would have left the tip for the one who actually worked our area I really admired his work ethic. I gave it a 4 for the food and the fact that there were actually people who picked up the slack for our MIA waiter.

I went here for lunch on a Tuesday and struggled to find street parking. Valet was professional and courteous. My party was seated right away with a good view of three kitchen and bar. We ordered with no difficulty and our appetizer arrived swiftly. However, we did have to request bread from our server. My white pie (fennel sausage and cheese pizza) was delicious with a slightly blackened crust (not a problem for me, but to some, perhaps). No other issues with service and all other needs/requests were met. Unfortunately, we did not have time for dessert, so I will be making a return visit some time to sample their sweets.

The food was delicious with quick and friendly service. The cocktail and cuisine menus are not very extensive, but even with such a small selection, every thing tastes amazing. As expected, this restaurant is pricey (~$150 for two people after tip); however that was to be expected. This is not a place for the average consumer to visit on a regular basis, but it is terrific for those special occasions.

A little pricy at dinner but really good at lunch. The fresh fish sandwich is always on point. Everything I have ever tasted here was very good. Again, just a shade pricey for lunch but exceptionally good tasting.

We ate there for our last anniversary and it was a special treat. Extremely unique and delightfully tasty dishes that exceed expectations. We don't eat at high end restaurants too often, so we were very happy that it was a very good experience. The menu changes constantly, but I don't believe anything on there looked like something that we thought, "Oh, we could just make that at home." And nothing tasted like something that I could reproduce either, as much as I would love to! The service was wonderful. You have to make a reservation, and this is well worth it because you will be seated and waited on as soon as you walk in the door. We noticed lots of little details that made the experience exceptional.

The coffee was good. The cookie was OK, not bad, not the best ever. The atmosphere is cute and artsy, with paintings on the wall. The tables are a mix of what I remember as being 50's-60's style diner tables. It's a good place to go to relax a bit and people-watch.
