Good food. Quick service. Usually not crowded.
What a great place to experience live music! I've been there for several different bands, and I always have a great time with wonderful bartenders and a nice dance floor.
Boston's at the beach is awesome. I had the fried fish sandwich and fries. My wife had pasta with chicken and vodka sauce. We had to get to go boxes because there was so much food. Also the key lime pie is to die for. That never made it to the to go box.
I chose well. Beef tips. Very good. So was the squid. Pasta thing was also good. Its touristy and not what you get in boston but worth a try. Did not here any complaints from the 3 of us.
If you enjoy overpriced reheated, gas station type food, lousy drinks & poor customer service, then this is the place for you. Our waitresses even warned us not to order biscuits and gravy because it was old & would probably have gotten us sick. We had wanted to sit at the bar, but they had no bartender & the manager was "trying "to make drinks. We were told to sit outside. The wind was blowing everything everywhere & the outside fans were all broken. Our table & chairs were dirty. Before the waitresses finally took our order, we had thought she forgot about us. The drinks were horrible. I won't waste time explaining everything wrong with this place, but the food is NOT fresh. Even my potatoes were frozen. The fruit was also frozen.
So I have been coming here pretty much my entire life from highschool college with my kids - a classic Florida institution - especially for us beach volley ball players
A bit pricey, standard bar food fare. Great views of the ocean, and good service. Enjoyed the outdoor seating and live music.
I have frequented Bostons on the Beach over the last 20years. On my most recent visit with guests, I did not feel as favorable to the experience as i had enjoyed in the past. The server was quick and pleasant. The Mahi-Mahi sandwich has been a classic favorite, but now proportion reduced. The calamari appetizer, not enough but good. The crab cakes really were a joke (at $12.95) the silver dollar sized cakes were battered completely so as no crab evident, they were like something popped out of a frozen food box. I would not have bought for half the price. The third appetizer was the Five Onion dip, (at $7.9) nothing special but the name. A beautiful shrimp salad was served to one of the guest. Another guest enjoyed the Curry Chicken dish, the Drinks were good and the atmosphere fun.
Service has been pretty terrible the last few times I was there. Server has an attitude, and is extremely difficult to get help from or even track down.
Drink specials seem good, but are only at the bar, and if you are with a group at a table, they will literally refuse to serve you from the bar.
Food is just okay and definitely overpriced. They are taking full advantage of being next to the beach and by Atlantic, which I totally understand It's just unfortunate that the service and quality of food doesn't match what could be a great spot & experience.
Good food, drink and music. Across the street from the beach. Down to earth kind of place. Grateful Dead cover band on Sunday night draws an interesting, loyal crowd.
The bar tender Chrissy was wonderful, she was really busy, and kept up with us and the crowd, serving everyone with great personality and smile.
Her drinks were the best and the food delicious, my husband and I Loved Boston s staff the food and the music.
Great place.
I hate to give a bad review because I want to like Bostons. I loved Bostons when I was in college. Life has changed and I went there today to take my pregnant wife and daughter for breakfast for Mother's Day. We sat inside and everything was fine but when we got the cream for my wife's coffee (I drink it black) we noticed the cream cup was dirty. No biggie, things fall through the cracks. But when my coffee arrived there was lipstick on the mug. My wife's looked clean so they're batting .750. We stayed but the food looks better on the menu. I'd go back for beer (bottles) and to catch a game but for breakfast/lunch/dinner maybe explore other options. The food was greasy and below average
If you are a fan of Boston Sports You HAVE TO GO HERE! I'm a die-hard Patriots fan for 15 years now and I feel so at home here! If you want a classy dinner date night or b views of the ocean go upstairs and dine. Either way it's a pleasure to visit Delray Beach fit just this place alone! GO PATS!!!!
