They are known for the prime rib dinner, but I enjoy the rib eye dinner. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The service is great.

Our server Bruce was amazing. He was always on top of everything and was very friendly. The food was great. My steak was cooked perfectly medium rare and had nice flavor. The house made croutons were amazing a little pricey but the good food and excellent service was worth the experience.

I've heard from many that it's a local gem. The food and service was good when I was there, but I had such a bad date I ended up taking the food to go. It was still tasty when I got home, though. I'd try it again on my own.

My family and I are spending our last weekend in Traverse City before school starts. We are prime rib fan so we've decided to have our last meal..dinner here. I am very happy with the service and how the prime rib turn out. I will definitely come back again when I am in town.

Service was great! Ordered the 'Todays Special' Prime Rib & Perch. It was good, "Just Good". Not $32.95 good. I know you're trying to simulate an upscale restaurant. And as far as the atmosphere you're close. But as far as meal satisfaction, you might rate with Findley's, Logan's and on a good day maybe Outback. Your prices are way too high for the food you serve! Boone's Long Lake Inn has NO WOW factor as far as the food taste.

I had an excellent Walleye fish dinner at Boone's Long Lake Inn. The service was excellent as well. Prices are reasonable. The atmosphere was really friendly. Five us us were seated at an 8 top table. There was a short line waiting for tables, so we invited the next group in line to sit with us. They did and we had a great time talking with them, sharing menu items we thought were great and toasting each other. Great place to go.

We've been coming to Boone's when we visit the area for almost 20 years. At this point, the owner knows the whole family by name. I can't recommend this place enough. It's exactly what a steakhouse should be. Their prime rib is the best I've had in my life, and at this point I'll only get prime rib when I'm at Boone's.

This is a steakhouse though, with a great view, cozy ambience and a bar that could put anyone under the table. With nearly every meal you get 3 courses, so don't expect to pay the same amount you would at Outback. The appetizers are all great, seafood is fresh and delicious, and every steak will have you longing for your bed once you're finished.

Great dinner. One of, if not the best steaks I've had from the area. Absolutely massive cut, definitely more than the 18oz advertised. Would make the trip again.

Went here last night for the first time with my wife. I feel like a jerk writing this because Boone's is a TC staple and the service is amazing, but with the options now available in 2017, it's hard for to justify their pricing beyond the appeal of service/habit/tradition/familiarity. It's priced just below a Ruth's Chris, but the food quality and atmosphere is more that of an Elks Lodge circa 1988. Just to give you an idea, neither I or my wife were interested in the leftovers from my wife's $35 fillet, so we gave it to our dog. Elks Lodge circa 1988.

Our experience here was excellent!!! We came up this way on our honeymoon and this was one of our choices for dinner. Atmosphere was cozy, loved the fireplace, waitress was great and drinks were well worth the money. The dinner was amazing!!! I had the seafood platter and my husband had the steak and perch surf and turf. There was so much food we couldn't eat it all! We wish we lived closer so we could come here most often. I definitely would recommend this restaurant to anyone headed this way!
