I picked up my friends 2 dogs at a Kennel and as couple days went by I had one of my furry friends start coughing really bad. When I found out what Vet they went too, I called and they were so helpful and immediately helped me with the process of getting medicine for him. I was so thankful that they helped me without the owners consent while they were on vacation. An hour later after I gave him his medicine, Grizzly has been able to be himself again and play without coughing. I lost my friend last December and when that time comes I think I found my new vet!!!! They look out for the animals without making a big deal on having their parents consent. That itself is truly 100% on what I am looking for as we can get busy in life. The staff is so nice and friendly. They are still taking cautious with the pandemic but still putting 110% in taking care of animals in need. I just wanted to write this review for saying thank you and as I have had issues in the past at other vets and driving back to Ankeny knowing that I had medicine to help my furry friend was such a huge relief. Thank you staff as Grizzly is doing lot better on day 1 with his medicine!!!

My family has been taking our pets here forever! Last year my puppy started having an eye issue that is super uncommon and they had never seen it before. They were so helpful and researched her condition so that we didn't have to take her to the ER at Iowa State. They spent so much time with us getting her back to normal. I am so thankful that we have such a wonderful vet 💛

I recently changed veterinary care for my pets and Boone Veterinary Hospital has been fantastic. Wellness care is great. Surgery and follow up is great. Boarding has been wonderful for my senior kitty. They also have all the extra care options that not all vets provide such as chiropractic and acupuncture etc.

Love Dr. Liz (McClure) and the other vets and staff. They are always friendly and helpful and really care about your furry family members. I had to call the emergency number early one morning. My baby girl was very sick and I'd made the appointment to euthanize her, but she wasn't going to make it 3 more days. Dr. Liz met me at the clinic and we put my baby to sleep. I cried almost hysterically and she hugged me while I cried. Then she gave me time alone with my baby. A few days later I received the paw print and a sweet sympathy card. And we still laugh about my 2.5-year-old Siamese; I had her in to be spayed at 6 months and Dr. Liz called to say she couldn't do it. Surprised, I asked why not. I was then informed my kitten was a boy! She then asked if I'd like him neutered. *facepalm* Looking forward to the opening of the new facility within the next year!

My dog Lucy injured her leg and we were able to get her an appointment immediately. (Which was amazing because they were about to close) We decided to wait until the next day though. However, we got an appointment in less than 24 hours after we called. They examined her and took really good care of her. I really appreciate the amazing people that helped my baby girl.

I always have a great experience at Boone Vet Hospital. Each Vet my dog has Is so nice and caring. They never push you to do anything you don't HAVE to do, and they don't make you feel bad for opting to hold on some things your dog may benefit from. Very thankful for them all!

Boone Veterinary Hospital is a true caring facility. My animals get friendly and professional attention. The vets really care about them and do everything possible to help them. Drs McClure, Henry, and Albrecht are compassionate veterinarians who understand animals and the attachment we owners develop with our animals. One of my animals has allergies and the Saturday morning hours give me the chance to take her in personally when she has hot spots. I trust the Boone Veterinary Hospital with my animals lives with no hesitation.Thank you to the Doctors for their excellent service.

Dr. Elizabeth McClure is a great vet to have. She is very knowledgeable and always willing to explain and help with the health issues my dogs have. She went out of her way when one of my dogs developed cancer two years ago. She is a great vet to have and I can only highly recommend her. PS: She also has a very nice staff working for her! Andreas

Very happy with Ollie being taken care of. Appointment made same morning and he had surgery in the afternoon, spent the night & picked up next morning. Dr. Albrecht was great in speaking how I would understand what was going on with him. I became a little emotional and her & the assistant (I'm sorry I don't remember her name) made me feel more at ease AND Ollie too!

The whole staff are very courteous. If you schedule, wait time is not long. I am positive if I had an emergency, I am a regular customer, they would see my pet.

The vets at Boone Veterinary Hospital are the best. They always give the best care to my animals and answer all of my questions. I like the idea of having appointments so that there is not a long wait. I have taken all of my animals there since we moved to Boone in 1977 and have never been disappointed.

The staff at BVH treated my dog as their own. She received amazing treatment that was above and beyond what was expected. She was treated like family and was loved and cared for so well during and after her surgery. The doctors and staff are top notch. I highly recommend BVH if you want the best for your pet.
