Worst service that I've had my whole life .. the owner smoke cigarettes at the desk and my newborn was there in her car seat

Put a transmission in my daughters car. Had to take it to the dealer after. He left out a dozen bolts. Didn't even hook up the speed sensor. Charged me way over original estimate. Very rude to my daughter when she called him. Nissan charged my a hundred bucks to fix. Car runs fine now. Don't trust him

I spoke with owner, who said he could work on my vintage vehicle. I made an appointment and dropped it off. Followed up 2 weeks then 3 weeks later, he said he was about to get to it. Finally after almost 6 weeks I just picked it back up. I won't be returning.

I love this place! My car shook while driving after replacing the battery (it was replaced at a different shop). I took my car to Tom to look over to make sure nothing was wrong. He got back to me the same day, explained why my car was shaking and gave me the fix (and great news, the fix was free)! I appreciate his promptness and honesty. I will definitely be bringing my car back here!

I've done business with shops like this all of my life and am usually much more comfortable with them than the dealerships or large shops but in this case, my experience was just terrible.
I took my car there for diagnosing whine on acceleration, issue with creaking, and look at tires. After 3 days where I called or went there each day at the end of the day because nobody contacted me, I was told the drive train was the source of the noise and "to just drive it until it got worse", creaking was "body noise" and the tires were fine, they gave the vehicle back to me and were kind enough not to charge me (hopefully because they knew they had just been to busy to even look at it).
After review by another mechanic, serpentine belt and idler pullies needed to be replaced, front and rear struts were leaking and needed to be replaced and tires were chopped up from strut issues. At the end of the day, I believe they were just to busy to work on the vehicle and took on more than they could handle but won't be back for that reason.response / report this review -

Had a similar experience to the other reviewer questioning this guy's honesty. Saw the great reviews he got online, with one exception. Decided to chance it, though. Went in once and he did a good job, completely fixing the salient problem on my vehicle. Went in another time, and he tried to get me to do a significant amount of work to my vehicle for a very significant amount of money and time. Declined his services then very soon after figured out fix to my vehicle was an easy repair that cost about $20, and quite simply repaired it myself; vehicle now runs great and without any problems. I highly question his ethics, because he put a great deal of effort into attempting to lead me to purchase a very expensive, drastic, and time consuming repair. I'm a very nice person; so, I'll give him the benefit of the doubt. However, will not return to his shop again.

Super slow with zero regard for your time. Added bonus is hearing the lady who works there scream at the poor kid that has to hang out there.
