I needed a new transmission for my car and they aren’t very cheap to begin with. Went to Global and they had the exact transmission that was needed for the make of my car. Not only was it reasonably priced, but they were able to install it for me fairly quickly. Global you are a lifesaver and customer service was amazing! Thank you.

I couldn't find a buyer for my “project car” so instead of it taking up more space I decided to sell it to Global Auto Recycling. The kind staff on the phone were great. They sent out a truck the next day and took my car no questions asked. I got a fair price and now can take back the space that the car was taking up. Thanks Global!

When I called they said they could come pick it up for FREE and got me paid quickly. Without their help I would be stuck with a junked car still. Thanks Global.

Found this place to sell off our wrecked car. Service was reliable, friendly and same day turn around. We got a fair price for the car we sent in. The tow truck came and picked up the car within a couple hours. Great people!

Very knowledgeable reps. I definitely would recommend if you are in the area. I was visiting family for the holidays and decided to check them out. I'm a big car guy so this was exciting for me. They have such a huge selection. Basically any part you need they have. Great pricing too!

These people are not pleasant and need to work on their people skills. On a "slow" Saturday it took us 20 minutes before we were helped and then had to come back in an hour.

The rating is justified by everyone, including mine. I walked in asking for a spare part for a 2006 Ion and the guy said they don't have that car model. As I walked out I seen the car and the spare part on it. So I walked back in and talked to another person. The first person butted-in and said "I ALREADY TOLD YOU WE DON'T HAVE THAT CAR"; to that I told him there is an Ion not far from the office, and if I can have it. He said(the first person), it's going to cost you $40/- for him to take it out! I said I'll take it out, to that he responded(while walking away) "WE DON'T DO THAT HERE". My point is, I understand it's hot out today and the heat can get to you; but seriously what the f*** is your problem????? Now mind you, Chevy can send me a new spare part for $46/-. So I left that place and googled another place : "Midwestern Used Auto Parts". Now that place, the guy knew where to direct me and best of all .. DIDN'T CHARGE ME A PENNY to take the spare part!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Worst place in the whole world! I ordered part Monday with next day delivery.Today( Wednesday) after 6 calls (yesterday 10 times) they said tomorrow. What? they said it Monday !!!
Don"t buy anything from them.
after I posted this review I received a call from them ..what a non educated, liars, crooks people.. They started yell on me and call me stupid polish! What a joke .They have no idea what's different between polish and other Slavic last name is. ( polish last name doesn't end "y"..)
I expecting excuse for delay ,but I received lie, yell,insult.
What a CROOKS !!

Kinda confused I was in looking for a part and after they didn't have it I was walking to my car when I seen two employees Hispanic decent loading tires nothing wrong with that but I seen them smoking weed also you can smell it maybe the owners should drug test because what happened if those guys got hurt. Probably won't be back but I do have to say the older blond guy was very nice to deal with but I rather not be around people who allow there employees to get high while on the clock.

If the insurance company sees this I would hope now all of the employees are tested today I guarantee you will have some come up positive drugs are still illegal in Illinois

What a joke. Called to order an engine for my truck. $500. Was given attitude because I wanted them to ship it to the shop who is working on it. Oh well, hung up and ordered one from ABC in Blue Island. Easy as 1-2-3. Hope your phone guys learn some respect for the customer. Unreal. ABC said thanks for the business.

Great experience. Called for a qoute to sell my old car on Tuesday. These guys offered the best price. Called on Wednesday to sell. They were there in about an hour as promised. Gave me what they quoted.

Called ahead engine was ready and waiting for me on a pallet. In and out of the business quickly fairly priced for a 300 mile radius. Would do business with them again and recommend them to anyone.

I don't know why people hate this place so much it's so very reasonable and friendly place. They give you best for your scrap. The only downside is you have to unload it yourself so I suggest take some gloves with you. If you forget to take your gloves they will point you to Direction where you can wash your hands before you get in your car. Don't listen to haters they have no reason to be happy and they take it out on others. I will definitely recommend this place for all Scrappers taking metal and get the best you can.

Called yesterday to schedule a pick up for my car, the guy was really rude and very impatient. He said they would come pick up my car that night, but he didn't give me a specific time. I waited around all night and no one ever showed up. Called them the next day, and the guy just said. "okay" and didn't apologize or anything. Very horrible experience. I've called multiple times in the past and was always treated rudely over the phone. I understand you don't go to a junk yard looking for customer service, but this was about the worst customer service I've ever had.

I had several very good experiences with Global Auto recycling. Most recently I purchased a Mini Cooper S that needed a new clutch from them. I saw the car in their yard when I went to pick up Chrysler Pacifica engine cradle and steering rack. The price was excellent! They towed it to my home by flat bed. I replaced the clutch which was the only major thing needed as stated, and the car started right up. As I described the yard to my son when I saw the Mini, we realized we purchased a 5 speed manual transmission from there over 10 years ago. The staff was professional and called me when the parts were available. I drove over 1 hour each way to get to their yard and will buy from them in the future.
