From the moment we walked in and the lady at the front desk checked is in, it's been fantastic! They were able to check us in early as our room was ready. We have a king with an ocean view and it is well worth the extra. Beautiful view, love hearing the ocean! The room is clean, the bed comfortable and the view spectacular. We're right on the boardwalk with easy access to everything. I like having parking in a locked garage, a little pricey but worth it.

Liked this place so well booked it again on return to San Diego after a week up the coast. The beds are great the rooms are very clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. Close to all attractions and right on the beach.

Amazing! The location was crazy good. We had a room with an ocean view which was spectacular. Large spacious room and great beach access. The pool area is awesome. Super laid back California vibes. Will definitely be back.

Was very impressed with this hotel! It's clean and feels like it has been recently renovated. Rooms are spacious enough, and you can't beat having a pool, hot tub, and fire pit area that look straight out onto the ocean! I was very comfortable here.

Staying here for a few days on a work trip. Really nice hotel right on the beach and within walking distance of a lot of bars and restaurants. If you look close enough you'll see a little wear and tear in places but honestly I can't complain about anything here. Its a great spot and I would recommend it.

Excellent.. As a some what wealthy business owner I really enjoyed my stay. The room was $440.00us (Ocean front, third storythere's the Canadian in me adding that currency). I normally stay around 10 days. a little over $5000.00 us in total with tax's

The location was great! Right on the beach and close to restaurants. Great walking on the boardwalk. Rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly.

The service was very helpful. I was staying across the parking lot at The Surfer Hotel. Their soda machine was sold out and I was directed to go across the lot to Blue Sea Beach Hotel. I grabbed a soda but also inquired about their rooms. She had security show me their pool rooms which have a sliding glass door that opens onto the pool decking. The rooms were stunning and had just been recently updated. They were well our of my price pointbut I wwas extremely impressed.

If anyone is looking for a great deal on hotels you can check it out on HotelRaven. com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around

Pro: Location. Pay extra for ocean FRONT, not ocean view. We LOVED the view from our balcony. Pool area was nice. Housekeeping did a good job during our 4 night stay. Fridge and microwave in room was useful.

Cons: Room and bathroom were on the small side. Dresser drawers were super annoying to close. For $315 plus parking a night, I expected higher quality toiletries, free bottled water, ect.

In all, we could not beat the view from our room or falling asleep to the sound of the ocean, but I might look around next time due to the size of the room being tight for our family of 5.

Big rooms, big TV. Microwave, fridge, coffeemaker and security box in room. Nice hot jacuzzi, decent sized pool. Easy access to beach from pool area. Friendly helpful staff.

My husband and I stayed here for our second trip to PB and loved it. The location is incredible - walking distance to everything and the ability to surf right outside the hotel.
We had a room over looking the sea, which was worth the extra money and were able to hear the sea rather than guests from the pool. The bed was comfortable, water pressure great and a decent size.
The amenities and staff were excellent. Clean pool, friendly welcome and easy check in. I highly recommend the blue sea hotel, best mid range hotel in the area.

We returned to the Blue Sea again this year for our anniversary and had a great time - again! They remodeled since our last visit, and it looks great - kind of a clean chic look - very nice. And the beds were super comfortable. We again loved being right on the beach and boardwalk, and listening to the ocean while going to sleep. This is one of our favorite destinations now.

The location could not be better, beach side balcony with incredible views of Pacific Beach. The hotel is updated and modern. We loved sitting in the beach side pool and hot tub while enjoying views of the ocean and sounds of the waves crashing. Pool also has a nice fire pit and plenty of lounge chairs with private cabanas for select rooms. Hotel also has a very convenient bike rental service exclusive to guests. Bikes were very new and in much better shape than the local rental shops had to offer. Friendly staff, warm cookies to greet you, new Mac computers for business use as well as fun, trendy video game consoles in the lobby. Highly recommend this hotel anytime of the year for families, couples, and friends. You can't go wrong with the location, close to restaurants, shopping, and plenty to do.
