This busy restaurant is closed on Saturdays and is not open for suppers. The prices are inexpensive and though their pancakes are not my favorite the other items on the menu are very good and plentiful. It is a mom and pop restaurant but they do take credit cards.

Had breakfast and it was delicious! Great Cozy atmosphere even with the construction outside.

Awesome place. One thing I love about a family owned restaurant is they make you feel like you're part of the family.

Blue Jay is a wonderful greasy spoon, probably not redecorated since The Brady Bunch was on TV. It tends to get packed on Saturday mornings, so be prepared for a bit of a wait and a wonderful breakfast. Be sure to leave room for dessert- they are freshly made and delicious. The prices are more than reasonable, so be sure to give Blue Jay a try!

Great food and a nice vintage atmosphere. I dine here on a weekly basis and have never had a bad meal. The staff is very friendly. One of the hidden gems of Northside.

Love, love, love this restaurant! The servers and owners make this such a friendly experience. Hard to find anywhere else!. They especially love the kids, Isabella and Charlie.

It is a little seat yourself place right off the road. The food was pretty good. It tasted better than it looked and was very reasonably priced. Even on the cheap side for the sizeable portions you got. I would definitely go back again. They take credit cards!

Little hole in the wall gem with weak coffee and great service. We went for breakfast and the food was what we expected. Nothing awesome, but definitely good. I would definitely recommend this place. Nice and quiet and friendly.

❤️Blue Jay! It's a family-owned Greek style "greasy spoon". It's our favorite breakfast/lunch spot- fast and extremely friendly staff!

Blue Jay, always & forever. Breakfast, sandwiches and a Greek salad with big blocks of fresh feta cheese. A Northside legend!

Went here a while back and their sandwiches was amazing the only downfall is after you get a togo box please dont get to busy and forget it because they will throw it away and dont care how much extra bacon or toppings you added. I had ask the woman if they could make me another one by any chance and she was nasty and said no like we didnt just spend over 30 dollars in there so now i give my money to every one else on Hamilton and always skips this place cause they are not about customer service only about money.

After reading reviews, I went in knowing about the slow service. But I didn't remember how small this place was. Having an infant in a carrier and stressed out people around me made this place feel pretty cramped. Our over easy Eggs came out in no time. But my dad's omelette took much longer and we never seemed to have the full attention of our waitress who didn't really care. Oh, well.

So many reviews mentioned how amazing the biscuits were, that I asked if they are made there - they're not.

This place is full of childhood memories for me, so maybe I'll go back infant-free when I'm really in the mood for diner food that was made somewhere else.lol
