Terrible service.
I was waiting almost 35 minutes only to find out they were buzzing the wrong disc. Then I couldn't be seated until the manager came back and no one could fund him for 15 minutes. The food is good but not worth the service.

My wife and I have truly enjoied our first visit to the Blue Dolphin. Honestly, we didn't even plan to come here we went down town originally but that place we went to was packed. Then we went next door to get Haibachi. The place next door was empty and we asked for a host, did not get one and left. At the Blue Dolphin Ms. Mai was very kind and recommend the Seafood platter. We enjoyed our meal. The only downside was that the food isn't free (other complained about the price in reviews.). My wife had a great night, I even forgot to ask if they have a military discount. Thank you Blue Dolphin and staff for saving our night.

The service was great as was the food. Food portions were of the main dish was large. Sides were normal. I suggest you make reservations if you plan to dine here on the weekends because it gets pretty busy.

The bar area is way too noisy. The server that we had was slow. Happy hour appetizers as well as the lobster,should be served any where you sit in the restaurant, not just at the bar. The rolls are not the best..it's just bread.. you would think the butter would have some flavorthe land o lakes spread I use taste better. My fried shrimp were good as well as the crab cake.

Great food, great atmosphere. Food is great with comparable pricing. Great selection of food from seafood to steaks, pork to chicken to pasta. No scrimping on portions and deserts to top it all off. You gotta try it. Would recommend reservations though.

I never ever post about BAD SERVICE on Facebook but I have to tell everyone that they need NOT EVER spend their money at the Blue Dolphin Seafood Bar & Grill!!! We waited over 45 mins for bread and water before they took our order. I approached the manager Panagiotis Patiniotis about it and he assured me that he would make sure that we received better service and to accommodate my aunt since it was her 70th birthday celebration. After the check came, I asked him about this and he said, "I did nothing wrong! I don't know what you are talking about! I didn't promise you anything!" I said, "So you are going to lie and act like you didn't tell me any of this?" He said, "It's not my problem!" I was even told that the owner was there and when they went to go find them, they didn't have the decency to even come out and address me and my concerns like a professional. So since he didn't act like Manager and apologize for his lack of customer service, the extremely slow service and not follow through on keeping his word of at least assuring that my aunt had a nice dinner, I am posting this message. My money spends just like everyone else's there and if you are in the hospitality industry, it's your obligation to make sure all patrons enjoy themselves and are provided with a great experience. He could have just apologized and said, I am going to make sure the remainder of your time here is a great experience but he didn't. He lied to appease me and then acted like he didn't know what I was talking about afterwards. If you or any of your family and/or friends have anything planned there, I would urge you to reconsider because Panagiotis Patiniotis showed me that the making money is the only thing that matters to him instead of providing his patrons with an enjoyable experience that would make them want to come back again and again!

The food was really pricey for what you're getting, including the talent (lack?) In the kitchen. The food currently at in the window for a while (the steak was cold on the outside and yet over done). The crab cakes were decent for what they are, considering they said they don't use Maryland blue crab.

But the real reason I'm rating this so low is there swordfish, straight up disgusting. I literally ate a spoonful of sour cream to get rid of the taste in my mouth. We sent it back, and the restaurant was good about it.

The desserts do look amazing though, almost enough to bump the rating, but I won't be coming here again.

Great service today. Me, my fiance, my sister and brother-in-law were there to celebrate their 30th anniversary. We had a great server, I believe his name was Alex on the bar side. He said he works on to side on Tuesday. He was very attentive and had no problem bringing things to us when we asked for them, much better than my last visit with a female server.

I love this place friendly workers, the food is great a little pricey but the service is worth it. Depending on the time of day that you go it can be crowded. But everyone goes here.

The food was good. I was a little disappointed the Blue Dolphin didn't server dolphin (just kidding). Everything was great, service and food. The establishment is not your large chains (Red Lobster, Olive Garden, Etc) so the prices are a little bit higher. If I remember correctly like $13

Overall, we were satisfied. To me the food was just okay, not really my taste. I'm not a fan of lots of cheese and breading in/on seafood. Here's what I liked; the size of the wine glasses, the kid's spaghetti, the blackened salmon, and the honey butter! Half the family loved the food, the other half of us, not so much. The real standout was our server Andrew, he really made it a great experience! He was very attentive and patient, as we were a big party with three toddlers. So I'd say this is a decent spot for a multigenerational group.

Prices are reasonable but you do not get the value. Nice location tho it feels management added quite a few tables to pack the establishment. Do not expect to have personal space unless you get a booth, even then your neighbor can view everything on your table with just a glance. Solid C

My wife and I came here for lunch. Great did, and service. Our waitress MI, was the best. Wicked friendly and very good at her job. She was the best!!! And I had crab cakes for the first timeEPIC!!!!!!
