I was excited to find a used book store in Charleston! This is a really cute store, with a variety of books both new and used. I specifically came for the used children's books, which I didn't find many of. However, they did have some very rare used vintage classics. The prices were a bit high, in my opinion, but I still recommend the store. It is definitely worth a visit if you love books!

Stopped here on our southern state road trip. Decent prices on books, nice staff. The kids section was very nice looking, and it had a variety of interesting odd books. Peaceful atmosphere, although it's not the sit and stay awhile type of bookstore we usually go to. Would recommend!

Great variety and plenty of personality. Articles about the owner, local books about Charleston, reading and writing club sign ups and more. Pretty much the opposite of your big box retail book stores with no life.

A great place to pick up a book. The book selection is good and the environment is peaceful. Sarah was super friendly too. She gave us a full tour!

Cool and trendy. And have tons of signed stuff. Not a complete collection at all bit still cool. Worth stopping in

I wish they had a larger kid section but the adult and local offerings were wonderful

Just the best little bookstore in Charleston! If you want books on the area, best sellers or something more esoteric, this is your spot!

Disappointed in the lack of selection. Most used books are priced as high as new books. Staff seemed unavailable.

If you are walking around Marion Square in Charleston you owe it to yourself to immerse in the magic of this timeless used book store. Complete the feeling of the old world and the new one meshing together by getting a vintage print of some obscure treatise on the natural discoveries of the east coast from the 18th century.

One could spend hours in this place (and I would have, if I were traveling alone). The selections are delightful, the decoration is beautiful, and the staff are wonderful. BBB is the best shop I wandered into in Charleston, and I will always recommend it to friends who visit the Holy City.
