The staff are always friendly. I love the fireplace in the winter. They offer organic coffee which is amazing and the deserts are so yummy! They offer upstairs and downstairs seating. Great place to chill out!

My first trip here, and they blew me away. Christmas time and it was like a sugar plum fantasy. Atmosphere warm & inviting, display case immaculate & beautiful, people friendly & helpful. With the gorgeous Christmas decorations and music, it was a great nostalgia trip to a simpler and more gentle time. And, yes, the pastries I bought were delicious! Best cannoli I've had in a long, long time.

Today is black Friday 2017. My family and I are returning home from TN to WV after visiting our extended family for the Thanksgiving holiday.
While spending time by the pool at the hotel. A sweet lady recommended we not return home without stopping by Blackbird Bakery. What a fantastic recommendation! I would've loved to have been able to spend more time there. It was so nice inside. Unfortunately, we had to get home so instead, I ordered all the things I thought looked appetizing. Once we got home, we shared all the things in the box. My personal favorites are the red Velvet cake (it had a sauce poured into it like a poke cake). My other favorite is the cinnamon roll. WOW! SO GOOD. The thing I liked least was the granola.
I've heard their doughnuts are good so I'd ordered a coconut one but it's not in the box. Oh well, maybe next time 😏

This is a really nice cafe/bakery. Very cozy. The chai tea latte was the best. It taste like they did it from starch Well they actually do make the latte from starch. Love this place!

Busy bakery, huge selection of cakes, desserts, pastries, and donuts. They also have ice cream. I went on a Saturday morning at 10. There was a substantial line, about 15 ahead of us. It was worth the wait (about 15-20 minutes), the line moved pretty quickly. I had donuts-- strawberry cake and chocolate covered bavarian cream and a cup of coffee. You can buy special coffees as well. I just got the serve yourself--they had dark roast and house blend. I tried the dark roast and it was very good. There were lots of people taking out, but there were a good number of people enjoying their treats there. Inside three seating areas seat 50-75 people. Pleasant dining areas are decorated with local art and photography. Fun outing on Saturday morning, there were parents with kids making memories and multiple generations enjoying time together.. Also the staff are very friendly and efficient.

The Blackbird Bakery is amazing!!!!!
They made our totally delicious wedding cake and we cannot thank them enough for making our day that much more beautiful! What an absolutely beautiful cake!!!!!
We highly recommend The Blackbird Bakery and we cannot say enough about everyone there! THE ABSOLUTE BEST PLACE IN BRISTOL AND THE TASTY TREATS THAT THEY MAKE THERE ARE HEAVENLY!!!!!

I know y'all love this place. It's great for donuts, breads, muffins and crazy sweet desserts that one only craves with consumption ofcertain herbs late at night? Cinnamon rolls will knock your socks off. However!bad, bad, bad croissants and a chai tea seriously lacking in flavor. Super slow service even though it always seems that they have several people working and trying to avoid eye contact with the next person in line. Expect to spend about 20 minutes waiting to place your order on a busy day. Other than that, fair prices and a very cozy seating area.

Shining spot for me is the coffee, fresh bread, and service. The atmosphere is nice. Last couple of times I was in kinda disappointed with stale tasting cheesecake bars. But, it was in the evening. Morning is the best time for me. Still one of the best in Bristol places. Must visit destination!

This is a gem in downtown Bristol. We were driving north after viewing the eclipse in Nashville and needed to fortify ourselves for the final day of driving. We stopped here and were delighted by the variety of baked goods offered. The quiche was terrific! Their coffee was pretty awesome too. Lots of room to sit inside or out and good parking options for a quick stop. Bristol, I'm jealous!

Prices are a bit high for what you getand the latte is only OK but great atmosphere and open 24/6 (Closed Sunday). The baklava is my favorite, but they have some many delicious desserts.

Great atmosphere, great food and coffee, helpful and friendly staff. Usually a bit on the busy side in the evenings and weekend. I recommend trying the tiramisu if you're a coffee lover.

1st time in the store and I was surprised at how much space there was. I thought it was a little hole in the wall but there are two floors and plenty of seating. Open 24 hours, college hangout and study spot. Good coffee. I had a carrot cake muffin and it was HUGE and delicious. took half of it home. 10/10 will return.

Excellent bakery, the best in the tri-city area

Very pricey, very busy, the best days to go are Monday and Tuesday, otherwise you will have a long wait and a limited selection.

If you want a cake for a party, this is the place to order it from, very moist and excellent frosting.

Convenient location, wide variety of fresh made, delicious desserts, friendly staff, occasional live jazz, local art displayed and sold in dining room, terrific owners! Open 24 hours, so it's great for a early morning coffee or a midnight snack. Wonderful place hang out or study, wonderful place to work!
