What's the deal with all the five star reviews? It's a fine place, but hardly a five star dining experience. I would give it four stars if I didn't think some of this overwhelming praise is un deserved. The specials are usually on point. It's a solid place for date night in the restaurant area, although I would avoid the sitting at the front bar on the weekend, as one local veteran bartender has taken her reputation as being difficult to new heights.

Great food and waitress was great! For a Friday night everything came out fast. Couldn't eat everything as we got so full fast. But will have great leftovers!!! ☺ Will recommend and will be coming back again!

The restaurant has a great atmosphere and helpful staff. The food is wonderful. I have not yet complained. I like the pricing of the food and the variety of the menu. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a suggestion.

I just set up a retirement party for one of my friends at work. There were 45 of us at black n bleu today. They did an excellent job getting us all served and their food is absolutely delicious. Great menu choices from pastas, strombolis, sandwiches, burgers and salads. . I like to thank them for the great service that they gave us. I will definitely go there again.

Fairly disappointed. Food was average. Things were slightly soggy and bland. It wasn't bad, but I left without wanting to go back. Nothing on draft except wine. Staff and servers were good, hostess was very good. I'll be back as it was recommended, but not excited about it.

I made reservations for my Birthday party at this restaurant 3 days ahead . After arriving to restaurant, i have been told that my party can be there only 2 hours and they need time to clean, so in reality it hour and a half and no more than that. After i brought my point to owner/manager , he was very defensive and threatened and simply rude. Instead of apologies and explain and make it up, he made situation plain ugly. Of cause we will never go there again and i think it's my duty to warn others of this place, where people treated like s

We've been here several times now as we are new to the area and LOVE this place. Can I just say the fried oysters are amazing!! The portion size is very generous, the prices are great and everyone is super friendly. This is a great little jewel here in the area and it's always got a great crowd of people. Try this place:)

Will NEVER go back. Used to like this placeand have not shared our experience from two years ago, but I keep hearing similar stories from others, so I feel compelled to share. Our three-year old son had hit the one-year mark of being cancer free after fighting brain cancer. We went for a celebratory dinner. Four adults and my sonspent lots of moneydrinks all around, two appetizers, five entrees, desserts We were there for about an hour and 15 minutes. I saw the manager looking at our table and talking with a woman next to him. Next thing I know, my unfinished drink was taken off the table by this woman (who was not our waitress) literally as I'm reaching for it. They started clearing our table. I look over and see the manager smirking at us. We were forced out so they could seat a waiting party. The food and service are not good enough for this to be overlooked. Both are inconsistent, at best. We later spoke to a waitress that used to work there and she said this is commonplace therethat there's a name (can't recall what is was) for it when they prematurely push people outnamed after a waitress who was good at kicking people out.

I had the ribs. My wife had the Shrimp and Veggies. Pasta made on site. Food was outstanding and piping hot. Service was fast and friendly. An added bonus is that on your birthday you get up to $20 off when you buy another meal of equal or greater value.

Very bad. A friend and I both ordered the grouper and BOTH came out NOT COOKED. I have had grouper before and other fish and this was definitely raw. Apologies made and new plates prepared and meanwhile we wait. The second plate came out and we were not impresssed. Two bites is all it took and no thank you. "Veggie cake" served with it was like a mush pile. Very disappointed. No offer of compensation in any way - we won't be back.

Good food, non chan. Dressy or casual doesn't matter. Locals are preferred for 5 star treatment which is why gave 4 since not local or regular and could tell the difference.

This is a great family restaurant. The food is delicious and service is great. We called for reservations at 4 pm on Sunday and they were booked. They suggested that we come early so we arrived at 5 pm and got right in. We left at 6:20 pm and they were filling up fast. Suggest that you book early.

2/20/17 - Food was great. Service was great. Happened to scrutinize my credit card bill nearly a month later to see a $56.60 charge for 2 beers and a burger. Called to report the issue and the server who answer knew exactly what the problem was - that since installing a new system, others have been overcharged (not her exact words). The general manager called and asked what beers? Seriously? Like I remember or that it matters. But he did see I gave a generous $40 tip which seemed odd. I suggested a little auditing of other bills is needed. I got a full refund but you should check your cc statements!

Great food and atmosphere but very unprofessional management of their customers. We loved this place and made a reservation on 1/19/17 at 6:00pm for my son's 21st birthday with our family. 9 people total. I am very upset about how 2 of the managers discussed "nicely" how to force us out and then executed it. 1 lady and 1 gentlemen managers. I watched them right in front of us talking and looking at our table and thought to myselfwhy are they looking at us are we doing something wrongno we were talking. We were not loud and out of 9 of us 2 of us had a beer. Then the gentlemen walked away and immediately the lady came to our table to collect glasses and say "thank you guys for coming." My mother was still drinking her coffee. Yes of course it was to force us out. They were absolutely packed with people waiting for tables when we got up to leave. Here's the worst part.I made this reservation 2 weeks in advance and we were there for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Not even that long to be forcing us out no matter how many people are waiting. That proves that they do not care about their customers dining experience and for that I do not care to return.
