Per usual, Chef Jordan and managers Zach and Bryton provided a memorable birthday dinner. Chef prepared and mastered a 5 course tasting all while catering to our dairy-free request. We were left speechless (and with empty plates) after every course. Zach, Bryton, and the service team could not have been better. Always thinking 10 steps ahead to ensure that your dining experience is more than what you expected. We cannot thank you all enough for a memorable evening, for the delicious food, and the spectacular service!
This place was awesome, great food, the waiter Shane was wonderful, we would diffidently
recommend it, planning on s return trip to sit outside in the summer, the firelight experience was beautiful .
Awesome dining experience. Knowledgeable staff. Excellent cuisine. The Brussel sprouts were amazing. The main course was melt in your mouth delicious. We got as many items flambéed table-side as we possibly could! Such a great night! If it were warmer we would’ve loved to have eaten in the screened in porch area. Perfect date night setting or for a special meal out!
Based on past suppers only, I'd have rated higher. But brunch yesterday was irritating and disappointing.
Service was agonizingly slow. The food arrived at the table hot, so I fault the kitchen and not the wait staff.
The quality of the food was generally high. Rolls and croissants were terrible. Do they not know croissants should be flaky? The portion size for the baked chicken pie was stingy at best. The contents, while tasty, seemed to have been pureed - Perhaps so they could fill the tiny crock without dealing with pieces of meat and vegetable.
The apple walnut pie was a disgrace. First, it was not pie at all but a small round something with a sort of lattice top. There was almost no - as in zero - filling. The dough was bland and too too chewy - Like their croissant, not flaky at all. And the accompanying cinnamon ice cream seemed to be a green apple sorbet instead.
My guess is that their "A" team gets Sundays off.
Food was of an excellent quality and taste! Exquisite plating great service and atmosphere highly recommend!! even with many food allergies!. greatly accommodating and friendly..!!!
Everything was delectable, and the setting is perfect. Chef Jordan and his team sure know how to create an amazing meal! Will definitely go again.
One of the best fine dining restaurants in the area. Has a great ever-changing menu that features different items as the seasons change. Drink menu is okay, not top notch, but they have a decent selection. The food and atmosphere along the river is what we come back for. Perfect out-of-the-way and quiet area. Sitting out on the deck is perfect (when seasonable) and can't say enough good things about the food. Especially when the chef's tasting menu is an option. Definitely a pricy place, but well worth it. Service is normally very good, though we have had a server that wasn't incredibly personable.
We have eaten here many times before because the food is so good. It was again on this visit but the service was not up to their usual standards. Our server never checked to see if we were happy with our meals. When he finally came to ask if we were ready for our check, it took another 20 minutes for him to bring it. There are too many excellent restaurants in Lancaster and York counties to provide this kind of service and expect customers to return.
I have been here a few time and always had a great experience. It is a little on the pricey side but we'll worth it
Always the ultimate romantic date night. Outstanding food and cocktails. So good, my wife and I got married there!
The Accomac for me is just one of life's greatest pleasures. A beautiful historic building that has wonderful charm, absolutely delicious first rate cuisine and impeccable service. The Accomac is one of my most favorite places on earth.
We come here often - and prefer it more in the spring and fall when there is a slight chill so we can sit by the beautiful natural wood fire, the smell of the burning oak is transcendent. There are beautiful views of the Susquehanna just outside the front windows making the whole experience just sublime.
When you arrive they will check your coat - and hopefully seat you at a delightful table in the main room facing the beautiful hearth and a warm inviting fire. From here you will be taken care of with the utmost reverence - all you have to be concerned with is choosing the appropriate cocktail and debating one of the many enchanting menu options.
We've come here for more than a few Valentine's Day events and it has always been the most delightful experience. For myself - The Accomac is one of those places where I wish I could make time stand still for just a moment…just so I could savor it a little while longer.
Everything here is a delight for the senses…the views, the aromas - the drinks and the outstanding food and service - having to leave here always fills me with lament and inspiration.
Great atmosphere, friendly service, fantastic food and forget the desserts!
Food here is always killer. I would never order pork, but I tried based on server recommendation and it was amazing. Most consistently good food in York County. Server was very knowledgeable about the local meats and veggies. Highly recommend.
