One of the neatest breweries I've been to, and I've been to quite a few! The setup is HUGE - there is probably room for 250 people in the bar / dining area. It is a seat-yourself kind of place, and children are welcome (we saw a ton running around and playing!) There are servers walking around to tables, but the best bet is going up and waiting in line for the bar on a busy day. They have so many options, there is a beer for everyone! The food scene is different than anywhere I've been, it's like having an indoor food truck or a school cafeteria in the brewery. You go up[ to the food stand, wait in line and then order your food, which is eventually delivered on a tray! This is a really neat place; if you're into craft beer at all you've got to stop in.

The grilled cheese is better than sex. Also love the fact that they let you snack on malted barley during the tour and you get a free pint glass and complimentary beer before the tour. The food and beer here is amazing but GET THERE EARLY. The place fills up fast.

Great brewery experience. They had an extensive offering of beers with many styles to choose from. The place is huge with lots of seating, but if my visit was indicative of a usual Saturday crowd expect to share a table to enjoy your beer. Two things I found strange, no Tv's with sports and the walk up ordering of food, but with the majority of tables being communal I can see how table service could get confusing. The beers I had were both excellent, I wish I could have tried more but we were short on time.

This is, hands down, the coolest brewery I have been to. The layout, design, and space are all phenomenal. The food is excellent, the beer is phenomenal, and the pricing is very reasonable. Our party of 5 all got a beer and shared appetizers, getting completely stuffed, for only $60. If you do decide to visit, be sure to go on the guided tour (and book online before you go!). You get a beer to start, tastings throughout, and a glass at the end. It's well worth the money, and it's really fun. Don't miss the opportunity to visit next time you're in Hershey!

Amazing beer. Our only sadness is we didn't have time to try them all. Love the set up of the place and the feel. Staff is super friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I have food allergies and didn't expect to eat there, but the chef said it was no big deal. And it wasn't to him. Wonderful food without a single issue. We thanked him and he brushed it off, because he is a wonderful man and a great cook.

Awesome place! Cool atmosphere, funky food, and great beer. One of my all time favorite brew pubs. Some communal and traditional tables, vegan options, and lots of nontraditional food. Beer flights offered. Brewery tours and gift shop as well.

This place is great. I'm glad we chose to eat here vs Harvest at The Hotel Hershey. Plenty of parking. Basically this place is like a Beer Garden where you find your own table and order food from the Snack Bar. A waiter will approach you to take your drink order. However, nobody approached us, even though several made eye contact with me. I managed to flag down one of the waiter from a different section. Unfortunately, I didn't get his name. It was also unfortunate that I left a big tip, only for different waiter to take the bill. I'm guessing they split the tips in the end. Anyway - food was AMAZING. We tried their BRAISED BRISKET and their CRISPY CHICKEN THIGH sandwiches. Portions were generous. We ordered 1 beer, Apple Farmhouse Ale. Water was complimentary, no surprise - they also offer you to-go cups for the water at the self help station. Bottom line - Come here after spending the day at Hershey Park. You won't regret it. Children are welcome inside as well.

Truly phenomenal beers. There's always a range of year-round options as well as some experimental "scratch beers" and something seasonal. Of the seasonal options, my favorites are Nugget Nectar and Mad Elf. Tap prices are super reasonable ($5-6 for a serving) but even better is to get a sampler. There's a pre-set option of usually 4x 4.5 oz pours for $6, or you can pick 3 for $6. Growler pricing is reasonable at $10-$15. Food is solid, enjoyed the hops fries, but in previous visits it hasn't been exceptional. I believe the outdoor area was recently added, and it looks like a great place to spend a few hours.

This has quickly become one of my favorite brewery experiences. The layout is very modern and the way that they have people order food is very different (it's cafeteria style versus a traditional, sit-down style).
The food is very good and the beer (especially the limited scratch series) is quite good as well. Also, if you do stop by, definitely take a walk through the self-guided brewery tour; we haven't been through the guided one yet, we'll probably try it the next time we go!response / report this review -

THEY ARE CURRENTLY UPDATING THEIR PARKING!
Many of the 1-star ratings are due to people having difficulties during the arrival and departure process. The in-between period of time where the customers are actually at Tröegs, they have a 5-star experience. You can't go wrong with their beer and German/Dutch style foods. I'm a single 20-something and this is the perfect spot to try a couple different style beers with some friends. I'm not sure why people with young children hear "microbrewery" and rate it 1-star for not being kid-friendly. The Tröegs brothers do an excellent job of providing exactly what they are known for- great beer.response / report this review -

If you're reading this, you're probably thinking of coming here. If you've had their beers, you know all you need to know. Absolutely fantastic beers, representative of many different styles. You'll find stuff on tap here that's not distributed and get some great styles that are spot on. I would uber there if you're able to because you'll want to try A LOT. I wasn't as much of a fan on the food side as I prefer the bar food. Beer is best with wings but alas no wings. Popcorn, pretzels, and fries are all well and good but who the hell goes to a brewery and orders a cheese plate? Anyway, that doesn't take away from it. The beers are great and it's definitely a destination to visit! Oh and the prices are great too. I can't remember exactly how much but my growler fill was RIDICULOUSLY CHEAP!

Good beer and food. Lots of scratch batches and stuff on tap that the brewers are trying out. Tour was a good one, but you have to make a reservation in advance. Only negatives I encountered: Swag in the gift shop is a little pricey. The parking just plain sucks. And a drunken local idiot tried to pick a fight with me when I wanted my seat back after returning from the restroom despite my having a beer on the bar and my jacket on the chair.

Troegs is always an amazing beer experience and has become a tourist destination in the area just like Hershey Park. Parking is a pain, the place is somehow always packed despite being very spacious, but it's just a fun time every time. Food is set up in a cafeteria style where you receive a buzzer and need to pick it up yourself, but it's almost always very tasty. The beer selection is plentiful with many different styles to choose from and you can always opt for a sampler. Great hangout with friends and highly recommended.

Tröegs is by far the best beer in the area and for miles around. Possibly one of the best breweries on the east coast. Top it off with a fantastic snack bar style menu, brew tours, atmosphere, and gift shop and you've got one of the best brewery experiences around. Parking can be limited at peak times and seating is open, but don't give up so easily on your Tröegs experience.
