We've been going to 'the Barn' for years. It used to be one of our favorite places to go. But lately, the food is hit or miss. I think they are suffering from a case of 'quantity over quality'. They have a huge menu and can be hard to decide what to get. They should trim it back and concentrate on the quality because currently, it just 'ok', food wise. The atmosphere is nice. The only thing I don't like is all the smokers that congregate by the front door. At times, You have to walk through cloud to get in.
I hope they improve. For now, we will try other places.response / report this review -

What can I say. Our server was great. The thanksgiving dinner was very good the prime rib really rock . It was a buffet dinner.Here is the best part, we ran out of stuffing. Told our server we really would like more. He went to the owner the owner came over said he was sorry we were out. Our party really wanted more stuffing. The owner said let me see what he can do. About 10 minutes or so more stuffing came to the table nice and hot. Our server told us the owner went out to get us more stuffing at another location. Now that's fantastic service.

Food is Phenomenal! Service is Excellent! Prices - Very Reasonable! If I lived closer, I would be dining there at least 3 times a week! Also, they pour an excellent drink at a great price!!!

I went for a wedding shower, so review based on this experience. Large bar/ restaurant located on lake edge. Huge parking lot, and it was packed on a Sunday afternoon. Our group was seated outside, under a tent next to a little waterfall, very picturesque. There was a lot of outdoor seating, and inside were different rooms. There were multiple parties going on that day, and we all shared a giant buffet. There was an omelette bar, breakfast food, pasta, salads, and desserts. I'm not a huge fan of a buffet, but this was definitely one of the top 5 I've had. Good selection and plenty of it. That being said, it seemed overbooked. There were 2 bridal showers and a baby shower, that everyone had to walk through to get to the buffet, bathrooms, and bar. It was very busy (noon-3:00 Sunday) and loud, but everyone seemed to be having fun.

Good for beers and pizza, that's about it. Ordered take out and the food was ready 40 minutes later. Half the ingredients in one of the appetizers was missing. Wouldn't be my first choice for a local restaurant.

“With live band, it was amazing place and yes campfire too”
It was winter and thought it would be not as lively as in summer but no, i was wrong.. We reached there by 11 and it was still crowded near the bar And the live band was performing there.. ..And what an atmosphere it was…
We ordered nachos with chicken some other dishes and all were good
And yeah, Snowflake martini, Raspberry martini and some mojito were superb…
The server was good too and he obliged our all wishes ;) They have lit up a fire outside so no prob in smoking outside in winter

Love this place. The food is good and a great menu selection. They have really nice outdoor seating and a view of the water. Great place to meet up after work or for a casual date.

I've been to the bar here a couple times. First time sitting down to dine. Service was great. Friendly and helpful from the host to the waiter. Food was also excellent. Stone cooked pizzas was prefect. Prices reasonable as well

Great kid-friendly neighborhood gathering spot. Bar, dining room, and outside seating available. Private party room as well. Fast, courteous staff and a diverse menu. It's really a treat to take the family here.

sat and waited for 5 min, no greeting, went up got our plates, and then waited . 5 min went by still no greeting, no drink order, went to the bar to get a few glasses of water. finally waitress came got our drinks, but had to flag her down for a refill on coffee, the wait staff to busy socializing with each other. THE KICKER FULL KID PRICE FOR MY 2 yr old who is 26 lbs. Manager spoke with us and refused to make a change on the check. His reply was "got to make a living" . Although the place seemed busy and the food is decent A HUGE thumbs down, terrible service and awful management. RYAN even mentioned he was friends with my boss. This has been my experience here with my family of four I will never brinng a client a meeting or anyone from my team here. We will not have or schedule any events here ever again

Went there for Thanksgiving Dinner Buffet with my Baby for $29 per person. Arrived around 3pm. They said they were serving all day and into the night. They were bringing it to your table all you can eat style. First they ran out of Prime Rib, which was shaved thin cut pieces, then they ran out of Yams. The waiter was terrible, inattentive, he couldn't even provide regular dinner rolls, said they didn't have any. Another waiter actually brought us dinner rolls, which means our waiter lied or was too lazy. Food was mediocre at best. Asked waiter to see about a discount. He never said anything to his Manager, just gave us the check. When we explained the situation to the Manager, he said the best he could do was to take 10% off. He said we should have had our waiter say something earlier, which is exactly what we did. On top of all that, my credit card was charged a mandatory 20% gratuity for terrible service. We decided to never go back there ever again. Very upsetting and disappointing to say the least, especially in Thanksgiving Day
