It's primarily for tennis and has some baseball fields. Though, I noticed the way the fence is lined up, apparently, they never expect a left-hander to play with decent arm strength as I don't see how people haven't been nailed by flying baseballs before. Maybe this is why the Braves have been so bad It's not really a place to walk and the 'playground' is fairly small. The hobos were friendly.

Great little park to walk around on a paved path. Basketball and tennis courts. Large open green space. Large playground for kids.

Great place for tennis, football, soccer, baseball. Farmers market on Saturday mornings is a neat treat. Fresh produce and live music.

One of the best parks in Athens. It has fields, lots of paved trails that are good for walks, jogging, and for kids with bikes or trikes. There's also the Athens Gymnastics building, and a huge pool. Saturday's from May to November are the farmer's market which has food trucks and several bakeries. Come between 8 and 10 for the best stuff.
Honestly, some of the best breakfast food in Athens happens at the market. You gotta check it out.response / report this review -

Pool is excellent. Theres a kiddy pool off to the side and it has enclosed fence for safety. 2 diving boards going into the 12-13 foot section. Theres racing lanes at the 4-5 foot section of the pool and large area thats 3 feet deep.. Lifeguards are on duty. Theres also a playground but doesnt have any shade and I imagine the material is extremely hot to touch. Theres baseball/softball fields, tennis courts, walking trails, and pavilions that can be rented for events. Really nice park

Cute little park. Love how clean it was when I was there. And the pool and tennis courts they have available. I also liked how there was a lot of shade, given the fact that it's super hot, which I'm not used too, and it made running a tad bit better.

Great place to unwind and take in the outdoors. The wife and I have been going here for years. We really enjoy the walking trail which is all paved with little hills. There are plenty of places to have a picnic and even a playground for the kids.
