Love this campground. They rent bikes and the path and scenery is beautiful. My wife and I rode up to Lake Michigan, Frankfurt beach in 40 minutes. Clean grounds, clean bathrooms, nice showers, and real nice owners. Can't wait to come back next year.
    Thanks
    Al

This is a very cosy campground. It's quiet, slow and the people there are great. Tailored around fishing and families I found it was a very pleasant place. The owners watch the speed of traffic so the kids can play. The only drawback is that there's no sewer connections at the site (they do have a dump station) and they have limited 30 amp hook ups. Getting past those to things is easy once you get there and sit under the mature shade trees they have around the sites.

    I'll definitely be going back.

Betsie River Campsite is very nice. Clean cabins (no spiders) and bathrooms. We love this place. Neighbors are friendly and respectfully quiet. Dog friendly. Main trail is paved! Fish station is clean, convenient and easy to use. Water and electric access. Awesome!!

This Campground was quite nice. The people that work there are very kind, they have a great fish cleaning station with freezer and refrigerator specifically for Anglers. Bathrooms are very well capped campsites are clean and I watched the owners clean up every morning. And there's a very nice Alpaca Farm just up the road! They are too cool. Highly recommend this place :-)

I've read the positive reviews. I think I must like something different than most other campers. Many people and groups seemed to know each other. The campsites were practically on top of one another, which is good if you know and like your neighbors, but not so good if you're looking for some quiet and privacy. There was no foliage between my campsite and the campsites of my neighbors, and we were about 20 feet from each other, so we were pretty close. LOTS of very loud children. The bathrooms were well maintained and the showers were nice. The camp store is a friendly place with great ice cream. Again, not much in the way of nature.

    Camping here 30 years.
The fish cleaning station is open longer into the season a big plus for river anglers.
New owners are the best so far.
    Always clean lots and restrooms.

We had our RV at Besties seasonally for about 6 years and we're very happy and pleased with the staffs service, the cleanliness of the grounds and the very clean restrooms. You never had to worry about running out of hot water for showers. We met a lot of wonderful people during our stay. Now we have made this area our home. A special kudos goes out to staff member Sharon. We would definitely suggest Bestie River Campgrounds to anyone visiting this area.

Great little campground offering water + electric sites for tents, travel trailers, and RVs. The sites all contained one picnic table and one fire ring. The campground also has a general store that sells firewood and offers breakfast sandwiches in the mornings as well as a bathroom facilities with showers. The bathrooms and showers were moderately clean, but it was about what I would expect for a facility which services such a high volume of people.

Clean. Good sized lots. Adhered to quiet hours :-) In front of wilderness area so bird sights and sounds were aplenty. You have to cross the Betsie Valley railtrail to get out of camp.
