This is one of the best places to stay in Charlotte. My sister and I stay here every time I have to visit my physician. The employees are great, motel is clean and convenient to eating and shopping.

For the price this hotel is pretty decent. Location is good. It is close to many restaurants and fast food places. Close to a couple of professional work places. The breakfast is your typical hotel food. Fruit, juice, cereal, and waffles. The internet is Super Slow so don't think you will get any work done or watch any shows. The lobby has this weird mall not sure if it's all of the smokers that constantly come in and out. The room is surprisingly clean however the heater and air condition does not work well. If your room faces the street you will get no sleep due to all of the loud people outside at night because of all the restaurants close by. Also your walls are super thin so you can hear everything in the halls

Clean. Good location. Nice staff. Internet is worthless. Couldn't even stay on long enough to check email through work laptop. They encouraged me to call the tech support line, which is not my job. If Internet is important to you, I would look elsewhere.

Manager called after the stay and tried to charge me extra when my Son stayed with me. He was with me at check in, I asked for two beds and never heard a word about extra charges. He became belligerent with me, told me to stay elsewhere and did not care about my business. I have never been treated so rudely by a hotel employee in my life. Go stay somewhere else, there are plenty of other run down hotels nearby that would be happy to have your business.

I've been staying here a few times a year for 4 years now and have never had any significant issues. I like the location . light rail nearby and food options are decent within walking distance. Staff is friendly and I feel safe staying there. My travel companions have all been satisfied as well. 5 stars given for delivering on better than what you would expect compared to other properties at this price point. Very good value. It would be nice if you could shuttle Amtrak users to the station like you do the airport . only issue I can present.

Really bad customer service!!! So we are a family of 15 and we evacuate from Miami for the hurricane so i reserved via Phone 4 rooms for 2 nights. When i arrived i spoke to lady at the desk that for the storm we don't know if we would stay. 2 days or 1 day and she told me that that would be no problem that we could pay for one day and then early in the morning just telling the front that we wanted to stay a day longer. This is what i did i went to the desk and talked to Michele and he didn't care at all to help us out. So we got kicked out even having a reservation for 2 days. So Best Western is no no anymore for me. The are a lot of Hotels around here so not a big of deal. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR EMPLOYEE ARE ALL ON THE SAME PAGE>>>>

    Convenient.
    King bed excellent.
Breakfast better than most similar and upscale places. Thank you for the full glass syrup dispensers on each table for the waffles. Hate opening those small packet ones. Actually ate a hot waffle for a change.
Close to the Light Rail, only one block.
Easy in and out to property.
    Very economical.
Couple of minor discrepancies with the bathroom but are easily rectifiable and mgt. was notified.

Really enjoyed the reception she was very kind and very prompt. The breakfast also impressed me as well. Room was spacious with a good view and wide windows. No real complaint and from what I can tell worth the overnight charge.

I always enjoy my stay here! The breakfast is superb. The atmosphere is professional and tailored to the customer. The rate is a little high but for the comfort of your room, services and convenient location? - is worth every cent. I was so tired from my journey to charlotte that I thought staying at a cheap hotel won't suffice - but was I wrong! The best Western has large bathrooms and beds and our bed had tons of pillows and a huge window. I'm so glad they're not a petty friendly hotel (ugh, disgusting) because if you've got asthma issues then it doesn't matter how clean they say your room is, some pet dander or feces or urine is going to be somewhere that you don't want it to be. Kudos to let owner who want to take their pet with them but no kudos for wanting to ruin every hotel because of your emotional attachments. Thank you best Western.

So far it has been a very good place. The price was a little higher then was posted but that was fine. We came in around 8:00 or 9:00 am after being awake for over 24 hours with a family emergency and they gladly accommodated us. We were able to go to our room and sleep for a couple of hours before going back to the hospital. The room was clean and smelled clean. The noise was at a level to where you can sleep and this was during the day. I did have to wait a while during check in and almost walked out but I was to tired to go looking around for another hotel. But this place did not make us wait until after check in time at 3:00 to let us go to the room to rest and have been pleasant so far. Thank you.

The hotel was in a most convenient place. We took the train which was 2 blocks away to the Spectrum Center and it stopped right in front of the Spectrum. The hotel staff couldn't have been more helpful and personable. It was a wonderful stay.

This hotel exceeded all of my expectations from the check in process to the amazing room and complimentary breakfast. The staff was very helpful! The breakfast was great and had tons of choices. We used the fitness center while we were there and were so impressed. We would definitely stay at this location again!
