Good facility. A bit dated but really cute and quiet. The exterior decor is really appealing, Southern California with palms and pools. The coffee is the best hotel coffee I've had.
Great location, exceptionally clean, staff top notch. Bed comfort varies with each stay, sometimes excellent and other time not so good. If beds were consistently great I would have rated 5 stars. A little pricey, but I will always return The cleanliness and location are important to me.
The hotel had a very nice ambiance. My room came with an outdoor patio to the pool, which I loved. Housekeeping paid special attention to detail with how they folded towels and cleaned the room. I also appreciated the water and fresh fruit. I look forward to returning to this hotel.
Nice open air hotel. When I say open air I just mean that to get to your room you don't stay inside of a building. Rooms were nice. Room has many outlets for your electronics. The hotel is near many stores and restaurants.
Nice rooms. Nice grounds. Plenty of parking. Mall and several stores across the street. Rooms are basic. No free breakfast.
Great place to stay and relax. Proximity to shops, restaurants and beach make it convenient for a comfortable stay. In addition to this, the hotel staff are amazing, they make themselves readily available to provide the best of services.
Very cute place, nice outside decor. Room was a little small and on the older side. The bathroom, while big, needs a little facelift. Good location in SB and there's a mall across the street. There's a breakfast/lunch place on the premises with some outdoor seating.
Love this hotel. It's not fancy but it has such a homey beachy fee to it. Super friendly staff. Great pool areas. Reliable shuttle service to and from the Santa Barbara airport. They even have rental bicycles you can check out to ride to the pier or beach.
Not very happy. We saw a moth in the bathroom which didn't bother us too much when we arrived. However, late at night and in the morning, we found ants on the towels, and unknown gray-silver tiny crawling bugs (not bed bugs, but suspect it to be baby spiders) on one of the robes and by the sink. The next morning, there was an ant found on the bed which we quickly squashed! Although, we didn't get any bug bites, it wasn't a good feeling that my towels had ants crawling on them and that we found this mysterious bug on one of the robes and again on my make up bag. A couple of ants decided to come home with us in my bag when I opened my bag to unpack. I told the front desk upon check out and I was told that spraying was scheduled for next week. He wasn't aware of any gray-silver bugs being reported. I didn't ask nor wanted anything from the hotel other than provide feedback, but I know we won't be staying there again. I gave it 2 stars because the hotel staff at night were very helpful when we inadvertently locked ourselves out of our room.
Stellar experience! Jesse was the front desk person who was welcoming and even waived to us the next day when we were out at the pool and knew our names. We were in town dealing with some unfortunate family matters and he made it better by having such a great attitude and being so helpful.
Room was great, the dog area is such a blessing!!! Hotel is the bomb.
Attended hiring event for Sprouts. Building was clean and well maintained. Easy parking. I did not interact with any of the staff. Time spent at event was less than two hours.
The hotel was very nice for the most part and the staff are very friendly. The room was very clean and had lot of amenities including fruit, cookies, and water and there was a very nice courtyard area. The only complaints are that there was no temperature control in our room and we had some trouble getting our toilet to flush occassionally.
This hotel's owner clearly cares about the property. It is not a new facility, but is beautifully maintained. The extra touches in the rooms, including fresh fruit, bathrobes, and plenty of coffee fixings, are terrific. Each bed has 5 pillows, a true benefit. The plantings on the grounds are superb. The hot tub is great. All in all, a lovely place to stay.
The Pepper Tree Inn staff and property turned an unfortunate circumstance into an enjoyable time. This was not a planned stay but I got two flat tires about twenty miles from Santa Barbara and Pepper Tree Inn was the closest lodging to the dealership.
A friendly voice took my reservation from the tow truck and I received a friendly welcome when I entered the lobby. Check in was easy and I was offered a cup of fresh Boyd's coffee. Thomas said he makes the best lobby coffee in the world and so far I have to agree.
The property was spotless and well maintained. The room was larger than expected and well stockedeven an apple and orange! A sliding door opened to a small patio and access to the pool area.
The restaurant is as clean and well maintained as the motel and the food was great. Judging by the delivery truck unloading they use a local supplier for some of their food.
The waitress was friendly and seemed to know most of the other customers. Everyone looked comfortable and happy.
These guys made being stranded feel like a vacation. Noon checkout was a big plus too.
