Very nice, clean, quiet and comfortable hotel. Not a luxury place but very comfortable bed. We got a very reasonable price this week. Not always that reasonable. This time it was a great deal.

A great place to stay in Monterey. Convenient to everything. Easy parking, nice large rooms, comfortable beds and pillows. I always stay here when visiting Monterey.

Second time staying here. The room was clean and spacious. Love the free breakfast. Easy walk to the Fisherman's wharf. Parking was free. Would stay here again

I was extremely impressed with the Best Western Monterey Plus. Any requests were always met with a Yes answer. For instance, when we asked if we might have breakfast in our room, the answer was YES, just ask for a tray. When I needed a little help with the Apple computer, a member of staff assisted me. Counter personnel were always smiling.

The Monterrey Inn was lovely. One great part of the stay was the location. It was so convenient. One evening we drove straight down the street to the wharf and walked all along the bay on the pedestrian walkway. We saw many harbor seals and pelicans along the way. The path lights up after dark and was very safe.

Great location, friendly & helpful staff, large comfortable rooms, nice beds. Walking distance to downtown and great food. Bathroom a little small but totally fine. Costs a bit more than some of the dumpy motels in the same area but you get a really nice place to stay. I would come back again.

Rooms are spacious and well laid out. Housekeeping service is very detailed and friendly. Front desk is very approachable and helpful. Pleasant hotel. Great pool and hot tub, but they close too early. Breakfast is grwat, lots of options. Breakfast room too congested and busy, need a bigger space.

very clean and new in appearance. Classy look without high prices for this area. Located in good area with other nice hotels away from busy area. I would go to this hotel again

Very clean and elegant rooms!!!
The checkout was very fast and convenient!!
Very close to the wharf.

Coffee and tea offered all day.

Having stayed at many Best Westerns and found them to be quite variable in both style and quality, I didn't know what to expect in Monterey. However, the Inn was easily comparable to Hilton and Hyatt hotels that I have stayed at in the area. Very nice rooms and excellent staff. Also, great location only a few minutes drive from downtown, Fisherman's Wharf, and Cannery Row. The only reason it didn't get five stars is that the breakfast situation was unequipped to handle the crowd. I'd definitely stay there again but would skip the free breakfast and eat at one of the many nearby choices.

Our room is spotless and nicely decorated. It's been updated from the pictures on the website. We got a deal from a hotel booking site so our room was upgraded with a fireplace. It's a gas fireplace with an electric ignition, so it takes a minute to start but works well. The breakfast in the lobby is a typical hotel breakfast, continental style with pastries, cereal, a waffle maker, and juice. The staff are very friendly. I haven't seen anything but smiles since we arrived. My daughter wanted a banana after breakfast was over and the front desk was very accommodating, and even let me take two. The location is great, less than a mile from Fisherman's Wharf. We haven't been to Cannery Row yet but it doesn't look too far on the map. I would highly recommend this place to anyone staying in Monterey.
