The room was very loud - the AC, the fridge, the ice machine. The carpet of the room also didn't feel clean. The bed was comfy, the furniture dated but functional, the room was big enough. The window couldn't be darkened properly. The breakfast had a good selection.

Rooms were fine and everything I'd expect. Only down side is no ac in the rooms, heater only. To be fair no hotels in Carmel have ac. They do provide a little circular fan but it's something to keep in mind if you're staying when it's on the hotter side.

We stayed here because it was in the center of everything. It's so convenient, we left our car parked here the whole long weekend. Everything was in walking distance for the reasonably fit. The South end of Carmel area was about a 3 mile hike away. So we avoided the tourist driving mess. No air conditioning though, because you USUALLY don't need one. Complimentary breakfast was decent. Parking was plenty, but small. A good number were compact vehicle parking.

We just stayed one night recently - we were looking for somewhere not too expensive that was relatively central to town. The room was clean, a little warm at night (but I was too lazy to get up and play with the heater so obviously not too bad!). Breakfast was provided the next morning - normal continental fare. We did not use the pool so can't comment on that. If you are looking for somewhere to put your head down whilst enjoying the surroundings, this place will be absolutely fine.

Very nice hotel, with everything needed for a nice stay in Carmel. The rooms are very clean and comfortable with an excellent location just to blocks from Ocean Ave. The breakfast hearty and delicious, kids ate waffles daily! Last but not least I would like to thank the front desk and their nice people. Shari help us a great deal, my son left his shoe in the room and she did everything posible to mail it. We finally we received it at home just as it was left.

Excellent hotel in great location with really helpful staff. The lady at reception (who always seemed to be on duty!) was extremely helpful and friendly and nothing was too much trouble - thank you for all your help in making our stay so memorable. The rooms were spacious, very clean and very comfortable and when we decided to stay an extra night we got upgraded too. The included breakfasts were the best during our stay in California (normally you only get a cup of coffee and a danish if you're lucky). Here we had the choice of cereal/dried fruits, toast, muffins, waffles, yoghurts, fruit, boiled eggs and fruit juice. The location was excellent being a short walk into the centre of town.

Clean, simple, comfortable. Good amenities; TV sucked, and I wasn't there for cable. Wifi was satisfactory. Parking is tight, but there's parking all around. Located near all the shops in Carmel.
