Overpriced for a 2 star hotel with few amenities. Free breakfast but same menu every day with very little variety. On the plus side great location near restaurants and subway.

I am giving just 1 star because apparently the front desk let 2 police officers come in to inspect the rooms. I do understand that as tourists we need to comply with the law however I think there's a fine line between complying and our own rights. I was not even 30minutes in my room when I heard a hard and loud knock, opened the door and 2 supposedly police officers told me that there was a report of a "robbery of an IPhone therefore they needed to check my room," I was totally shocked and fell threatened, it was just me in the room. So could you imagine how scary is 2 big and tall men in your room??? So, since I am respectful of the law, I allowed them in but excusing myself to wait outside. they agreed, once they were in my room, they checked everything and opened my whole luggage (3 pieces), yes they did ask for my permission, and yes I allowed them to so. yet I felt totally violated! I had to step in the room as I also thought they could handle wrong (let, put, plant things) my luggage, it was a really scary!
Those police officers were alright, correct body language, however I still feel it was so wrong the way they checked my luggage.
I strongly believe the receptionist or some employee could have been present while the police officers did their "inspection."

A few things in room did not work. Highway is noisy. Parking is a plus. Hotel is easy to find.

This was decent, clean, and the staff was friendly and competent. No frills, but all the important basics were in place.

Occasional traffic noise in the hotel room, but very minor. Shower pressure a little low, but tolerable The "continental breakfast" actually had scrambled and hard-boiled eggs and sausage on offer, as well as fresh baked muffins, brewed coffees, fruit and cereal. Better than I was expecting. Very fast check in and check out.

About a 15-minute cab ride to JFK, with a cab company the front desk called and arrived in about 5 minutes. (Be warned: my cab was a black car that did not look like a cab, but once I checked inside, the man had his taxi driver licenses on display). Also, note that if the hotel calls the taxi for you, the taxi service may not take cards. My driver had to stop at an ATM so I could get cash, because they had no device to take cards. You can only pay with a card if you call yourself to reserve the car and talk to dispatch.

Great overnight stay after picking up my car from JFK long term parking after a long, tiring flight. Easy to find / good parking. 20 minutes from airport. Friendly helpful staff. Grocery store closeby.

Much better cleanliness and room amenities than expected. Smooth check in and check out. Extremely helpful front seat staff. Everything looked newly renovated. Excellent quality bedding no different from a high end hotel (having stayed in hotels all over the world). Would not hesitate to stay here again

Nice rooms and beds but the rest of the hotel is a bit old looking. It was close to restaurants and transit with a bit of a walk. Would stay again just for the bed as it was great to sleep on.

My wife and I stayed here for a business trip of hers and while the reviews didn't list it favorably, the hotel is non smoking, convenient to the highway, and clean. Staff was super friendly and very helpful. The waffles for the complementary breakfast were great! We upgraded and had the room with the Jacuzzi and it was really nice. We would definitely stay here again.
