Bought my first Subaru from them. I was dreading going through the car buying process again but they made it very easy and quick Gilbert was awesome explaining everything to me about the car. Ashley the finance officer was awesome I was not looking forward to doing the financing part of it. She made it simple explained everything to me and made the process quite delightful. You can tell she really cares about getting her customers the best rate and numbers that work for them. She went above and beyond for me and I am very grateful for her help and guidance.
Waited for some time! in a decent lounge with free wifi. Got a very helpful multi point inspection with my oil change, which what took so long. Worth the visit. 👍
We bought a brand new Outback from Nick Difronzo a few years ago. It was a great experience to work with him. We happily used our Outback. We needed to upgrade to a minivan (unfortunately, Subaru doesn't have minivans), and he guided us with the new process. We saved money both times, thanks to Nick. Hope to work with him in the future again.
I've been working with Bertera Subaru for about a month now with a sales rep named Frank, and he has been absolutely AMAZING and a complete asset to the process of getting into a new lease! I don't typically trust anyone in sales, but Frank has proved himself to be authentic and a team player in order for me to find the best most affordable deal possible for my situation. I highly recommend anyone to work with him, as I probably would not have moved forward with the sale if working with another representative. Frank was pleasant, jovial, attentive and ultimately RELIABLE in helping me navigate the process from start to finish. Thank you Frank & Bertera Subaru!
Unfortunately if I could give zero stars I would … my experience started out great but after I signed that paper for my new car and put down $9,000 it got worse , I paid $600 extra to have a remote starter installed my car was supposed to be ready Wednesday I changed my trade in into giving them $1,200 more than they offered and they said my car would be ready on Friday , I showed up Friday they tried to quickly brush me away with just one of my 3 keys that I was shown I told them I had two more that came with the car they looked at me as if I had lost my mind after 20 min of searching the again quickly brushed me away I asked where the remote starter was one man pointed at my car key saying that was it goodbye I said no none of these turn on my car after 15 minutes of looking and getting two more salesmen involved they told me there was no remote starter and they would be in contact with my original sales person. I had to contact him myself and finally be told they did not have one in stock it would be ordered , after it was ordered I had to take more time to sit at the service department to get it installed when I called the service department a rude women tried to tell me I could not make an appointment without a paper I called back and finally dealt with Brenda who gave me the best experience within the shortest amount of time if I could give her 5 stars I would . I am so upset with my sales experience I had such high hopes .
Last two times we scheduled an appointments for oil change and maintenance checks. However, both of those times when either me or my wife came in, we were told that there is no appointment scheduled. First time, they were able to squeeze us in and we still had to wait around 3 hours (even though we were told 1.5-2 hours wait). Today, again my wife was told there is no scheduled appointment. She could not wait again for 3 hours or longer, so we had to reschedule appointment. just unbelievable. I could understand that may happen once, but not twice
I had a wonderful experience at Bertera Subaru. The employees were very helpful and managed to get me leasing the car that i wanted at a price that worked for me. I highly recommend leasing or buying a Subaru through them!
I don't know how many people I had to speak with about getting tires through the tires for life program and my inquiries were pretty much ignored. Finally, once I was able to go in for service I was told there would be about 1-1.5 wait time. No big deal. Except I had to wait 4 hours to have 4 tires changed. There were other customers who came and left but I was left waiting. I went down into the bay twice to ask what was taking so long and I was told it was "being wrapped up soon." Then they tried ask me to rate them all 10s on their survey. Unbelievable.
I called up and Nick helped me out on the phone. I told him exactly what I wanted, he got the vehicle prepped and we arranged a very smooth, easy transaction same day. He was able to accommodate a complicated three week long financial situation I was stuck in the middle of no problem. Very comfortable, friendly, hassle-free experience and I walked away happy.
Kenny Burgos is a fantastic salesperson. He knows his cars and is very polite, friendly and with a great sense of humor. If you're looking for a Mazda, he's your guy. The dealership is definitely in need of an upgrade. The facilities are kind old and worn, but the cars are shiny and new.
Bought my first car here and it was a great experience! The whole process took exactly one week for me. The first day I met with my salesperson, Keith, who showed me the inventory and helped me decide what the best vehicle in my price range would be, and after about an hour there we'd hashed out the exact car I'd be purchasing. Keith stayed in touch with me over the next few days, continuously updating me as to when the car I decided on would be arriving at the dealership, and after it arrived setting up a day for us to test drive and go over the vehicle features, and for me to pay for the vehicle. A few days after that, I drove off the dealership lot in my new Subaru Impreza! I'm very happy with it, and Keith has still kept in touch with me to make sure everything's good. Great customer service, great experience!
Outstanding customer service. Jeremy was awesome and extremely helpful. I've been searching for the perfect car for over a year now and have had some awful experiences throughout my search at other dealerships, however Bertera was perfect and I couldn't be happier. Thank you!!
Leased a Impreza from these guys. Everything was easy, quick and only left a good impression. Everyone knows exactly what they have to do and will be very straight forward about the process and prices so much that it's shocking. No grease ball, second hand typical car sales man here! I'm recommending my mother goes here for her next car and she has been exclusively a Nissan owner forever.
I started my shopping online, found a vehicle I really liked and went into the dealership to test drive. This was the best car buying experience I've had - I told them exactly what they wanted, they handed me the keys to the vehicle and didn't try to sell me anything else. Keith worked with me all day on the pricing, explained the finances to me, and was VERY knowledgeable about the vehicle. I did end up paying a little more per month than I wanted to, but they almost totally paid off my car which I traded in. Overall it was an excellent experience. Being a young woman, a lot of car dealerships see me as prey - Bertera treated me with respect and was truly trying to get me into a vehicle I LOVE!
Bertera Subaru has the most friendly, professional, and helpful salesmen that I've ever encountered. As soon as I walked in, I knew it was going to be an excellent experience. I bought my car from Daniel Leary, and he made it his job to make sure I got the best deal I possibly could. He didn't pressure me into buying a car that I didn't want nor couldn't afford, and he made the whole process easy and enjoyable. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone looking to purchase a vehicle, whether new or used. If I could give this company and its employees more than five stars, I would!
I want to start by saying I love my Subaru Forester. I bought it through Bertera because it was priced well and it was exactly what I was looking for.
Now as far as after purchasing the Subaru, I am extremely disappointed in the service following purchasing the car. For the most part the staff was pleasant, but as far as getting questions answered or getting appropriate service or information, that was horrible. It was just one issue after another.
My biggest issue was I had a major service done and not only were a bunch of things found wrong the following week when my brakes were being put in (none of my fluids were topped off, there were parts left in my engine bay, fluid that had been spilled was not cleaned up from my engine bay, my tires were not put on to appropriate torch, etc) but I was hard pressed to get any information about my warranty on specific parts that seemed to have early wear.
On top of that, I was due for my "free tires" and was given false information (on more than one occasion) and low and behold I was finally told that I had done something to veto my free tires when I went to schedule that appointment.
Love my car, but I would rather pay more somewhere else then get toyed around any further by Bertera.
And to pre-respond to what appears to be a response from Subaru for each of these reviews Please do not tell me you are sorry and give me a number to call because I have called, lots of times, submitted complaints, even left a message on the service managers answering machine and I have gotten no response to anything. No one has tried to fix any of my issues or even gotten back to me about the warranty that I purchased. So if you would like to respond to this review, call me. I will even update with resulting outcomes if you do.
If you don't see an update ladies and gentleman reading this post, then you can bet that I still haven't heard anything which I think says a lot about a company.
Purchasing the car was a great experience. Jeremy was very good to work with. However, recently there has been a problem. I purchased a 2012 Juke (love the car!). I had the car for about 3 weeks and dented the passenger door. While in the body shop, I learned that the rear bumper, front bumper, and hood had been repainted (and not the factory color) and that there is water in the headlight, which has been there for a while, apparently. I was given a clean CarFax on this car - no indication of prior work being done (why would you paint a car if it had not been damaged?) And, when they did their 'once over', why did they not see the water in the headlight and fix it? I have contacted my salesperson and now am waiting to see how this matter will be handled. Updates to follow.
So, I have reduced my stars to 2. After contacting Jeremy re: the above matter, I was basically told - too bad. He did leave me a voicemail to discuss this further but, when my husband called him back (twice), he never bothered to return the calls. Now I understand why they didn't to a lot of quibbling with me on the price lesson learned.
Nick Difronzo was amazing! This man truly went above and beyond to help us lease a new Forester. We had money owed for our last Legacy and they took care of everything, including the price point. We will be lifelong customers, and recommend them to anyone looking for a dealership that takes care of customers like family. Thanks Nick you helped us through a tough spot.
There's a reason why this Subaru dealership is a joke amongst the local Subaru community. Where do i begin? It all started with a promise of a guaranteed service appointment for a simple one tire swap first thing in the AM. I arrived when I was supposed to at 7AM, the service advisor Tina said she could not get my car in first thing because there was already a car with a booked appointment. I informed her that I had an appointment booked yesterday with another advisor, who was very kind, and I was told this simple tire swap wouldn't be a big deal. She kept throwing in my face (with an unprofessional snotty attitude) that they are currently booked two weeks out and only has one service technician at 7AM and can't get me in first thing. Well TINA, how about instead of making excuses, you simply empathize with my frustration and apologize for the miscommunication within your team who made this mistake and find me a solution? Had to get the manager involved who then claimed he would get it taken care of.
When that was squared away I made my way to the waiting room (which is starch and unwelcoming), 10 minutes later cigarette smoke seeped in from outside making it almost unbearable to breathe. Shortly after that, the three customers waiting had to endure the unprofessionalism of the service advisor and another employee yelling at one another from down the stairs for a good couple minutes.
That sealed the deal, never again will I come here. Not even in a pinch scenario like this.
Great customer service goes a long way and quite frankly I don't see how this dealership hasn't gone under yet. Even the service tech last night agreed they have a bad rap in the local community. If that doesn't say something, maybe this reinforces that awful reputation.
I normally don't write reviews but I feel that I have to because it was disgusting. the salesman Dan was making sexual comments to another employee (I think her name was Haley or Holly) and she was looking down at him from the balcony licking his lips and i was amazed at the lack of respect in this dealership. I also feel the need to mention that the service was laughable. I overheard another salesman laughing at another customer from the phone, who after he hung up the phone began to laugh at the person from the phone and say things like "shes mad because her warranty doesn't cover that but o well i made my money already" and "I don't care" and "We made a lot of money off of her". I went to the mitsubishi dealership across the street and I was very impressed at their professionalism I told them I was appalled at the lack of respect and the salesman Joe apologized like it was his fault and pledged to take good care of me and my teen daughter (who will be needing a car soon when she starts college, I know where I'll be going) Which he did an amazing job of and I would recommend this establishment to anyone.
