This is the best place you could ever go for your music needs!! You will not be disappointed.
The staff is amazing and I would give them 10 stars if possible. All the staff is super knowledgeable and willing to help you find the best instrument suited for you. This means a lot. Joe Spann in the appraisal team was simply brilliant. He replied to emails very promptly and was able to offer details and clarification on a vintage Fender instrument that others had struggled to. He came through with a well written, detailed appraisal and valuation. It is understandable why Gruhn Guitars is the international benchmark.

After months of research I decided to make the 8 hour drive to Music City USA to purchase my “forever” guitar! I knew of a few places to visit but had Gruhn Guitars at the top of my list. I scheduled an appointment and when I arrived I was overwhelmed(in a good way). The selection at Gruhn is unmatched by far!! The salesman, Gary, was extremely knowledgeable and accommodating! After playing several guitars that I’d been researching, one finally spoke to me! I could not be more pleased with my shopping/purchase experience at Gruhn Guitars. I have bought guitars all over the country at shops big and small. This was without a shadow of a doubt the best guitar shopping experience I’ve ever had! Thank You!!! I WILL be back soon!!!

Bought this wonderful Les Paul! Great selection and knowledgeable staff. They mixed safety protocols nicely with customer service. Two other places down the street lost out because they made me feel uncomfortable and unwanted.

The legendary Gruhn Guitars. What else can I say? Incredible selection of high-end new, vintage, and acoustic guitars and basses. They have jazz boxes and ukuleles and do repairs and of course, famously, appraisals as well. Everyone here is SO GREAT to talk to, respectful and helpful and kind. Special thanks to Chloe for getting me in last-minute (during covid-19 they are requiring appointments for the showroom). I only had to wait about an hour. Love this place. I go every time I'm in Nashville.

What a treat! Awesome collection of fine instruments. Pricing is low for the vintage. And there's something for everyone. Plenty of friendly, knowledgeable folks on staff.

I have bought a couple of guitars from BillyJackson. Billy is a true professional, knows his business, and shoots you straight. This is great company. Thank you for saving, and restoring heirloom instruments. I will be back for another guitar soon!

Loved watching my hubby walk around the store drooling over all the guitars. He didn't play any, but he said he was afraid he wouldn't want to put them down. It was a good visit and the staff was friendly and knowledgeable.

Huge selection of guitars. Acoustics mainly. Lots of Martins, and actually really good prices on new Martins. Of course there are some very high priced, collectible guitars but also affordable working-musician guitars. Quality stuff throughout the store. Friendly, attentive but not pushy staff. This place is world-famous, and rightfully so, but most of all it's a great place to buy a quality instrument at a fair price.

After a recent poor experience at a store local to me, I wanted to leave a review of a truly great store. I was in town for work, and I stopped by GG on my way home. I was SO glad i did. I was shocked to find so many fine instruments (new and vintage) available to play. The staff was friendly but low pressure which was EXACTLY what I wanted. I asked a few questions, which they answered thoroughly. I am looking forward to my next trip after I have saved up a little cash.

Made a special trip here, but didn't feel like the staff were very interested in helping. First person I talked to was just rude, second was ok and showed me a few guitars, but disappeared after a short conversation.
Was really hoping to buy a nice guitar from my trip to Nashville as a souvenir, but they just didn't have the interest in helping me.
Expect better when you are shopping for a high end guitar.response / report this review -

It's pretty cool to sit down with a new (or classic) guitar with your daughter, start noodling around, and have a staff member come by and tell you, "Oh, hey, that Taylor guitar you're playing? Yeah, Taylor Swift just bought that exact model from us 'bout 3 weekends ago. She loved how it sounded and looked and had to have it." It'was almost $5,000! They gave us free picks and stickers and encouraged us to come back on our next vacation. Fantastic selection, very nice layout, and plenty of benches for you to sit down and play your next instrument.

I bought a new martin D18 there the salesman Billy Jackson was great he treated me better then any salesman has ever treated me at any guitar shop! He made my experience awsome! I highly recommend gruhn guitars very awesome shop and great sales staff.

We stopped at Gruhn Guitars In late January on our trip south to Florida for the winter. I wanted to check out their Martin guitars and I was in for a real treat! The store carried a huge selection of Martins, both new and vintage. The store staff let me browse and play anything I wanted and answered every question I had. Rob Ruff worked with me, answering questions, checking specs, and suggesting various guitars to play. I focused in on a Martin 000-28 for my next guitar but was not ready to buy while we were on our trip. Rob suggested that when we returned home from Florida, they could ship a brand new guitar to me in MIchigan. After returning home, Rob called me to tell me they had just received a 000-28 that day and it could be sent to me. The brand new 000-28 is with me now and I love it! Rob followed through on every detail for me and I could not be happier with my purchase and all of the people at Gruhn Guitars!!
Gruhn Guitars is a first class store with a great selection and staff. I highly recommend this store and Martin guitars.response / report this review
