From the moment I arrived, I knew I was going to love the experience here. The first thing I noticed was how quiet and peaceful it was, only a light padding of snow on the rooftops disturbed the serenity. The next thing I noticed was that each direction I looked provided a stunning view of mountains and forest that would make any sane person want to move here to stay.
To further improve the experience, Matty goes well out of his way to ensure that every guest feels at home and has everything they need. He's very welcoming and happy to help however he can.
The cabins themselves are beautiful inside and out, the studio style cabin I stayed in offered a view of town, as well as amenities like a microwave, mini fridge, coffee maker, fast wifi, large comfy bed, and a gorgeous bathroom. This is the sort of place that invites you to leave stress behind and decompress; I can't recommend it highly enough.response / report this review -

A very lovely place. Cool and quiet environment. I went for a spritual retreat so I could not check out the community. I had a very nice view from my room. The cabin is lovely, heated bathroom floor. I will recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and quiet getaway.

Wonderful stay! Safe and accommodating. Matty really knows how to take care and make you feel right at home in the middle of a mountain paradise.

I don't know where to start with how amazing the stay was. Firstly, Matty was absolutely the most hospitable host I have ever encountered and made everything very comfortable. The suggestions regarding food, drink, and entertainment made our weekend fun and exciting. (Pine Hill Arms, Trattoria Locale, Picnic!, and Jack's are highly recommended) The property was beautiful and the unit was in excellent condition. I had zero issues what so ever, the entire weekend was magical. Thank you Matty, you were great. We look forward to seeing you again soon!

I can't even begin to explain how beautiful this place was a true winter wonderland. Our room in the cottage was very clean and tidy. We had access to a kitchen area that was stocked with all the basic necessities (plates, cups, knives, forks, spoons, pots, pans, etc) We had access to a hot tub (awesome way to relax and stargaze) There was a rec room with activities to do, we spent some time playing board games here. The property is very clean and well managed, the new owners are amazing very sweet and kind, took care of all of our needs. For those of you that like to skii and board, there is Bellayre mountain nearby. Overall an amazing trip! Definitely will be one of my goto escapes from NYC :)

This place is fantastic!
A few friends and I spent 4 nights here mid-January. The town is within walking distance and the slopes are a quick 5 minute drive away. We would snowboard every morning and spend time every afternoon relaxing in the hot tub. The rec room, "Carriage house" was a great place to unwind with your friends after a long day.
The hosts Abbey and her husband George were some of the friendliest people I've ever met, very hospitable and pleasant.
