I really enjoyed my time here. It has a very cozy environment with very nice staff. Their pizza was excellent. They have a great lunch menu with a great amount of selections and are very reasonably priced.

This little restaurant is a little hidden but worth finding. The waitress we had was a little absent minded at best, but the food was good and the historic building was cool.

The folks working here are beyond wonderful. We barely made it in time for the buffet but the food was still great. Even though it was near time to end they were still making fresh and offered to make the pizza of our choice.

The pepperoni pizza was amazing!! It was very thin, perfect amount of toppings, and a little greasy. My fiance tried the onion rings, which he said were the best he's had in years. He didn't care for the sauce on the lasagna, but it looked amazing and was a great portion size. We'll definitely be trying out more from the menu. Especially with how reasonable the prices are.

Bella Vita is one of the best places to eat in Petersburg. The food is always excellent, whether it's a menu item or a special of the day. Their soups are to die for! They make their own pizza dough and breadsticks. Let me tell you about their pizzas - the BEST in town! They have a special, 2 large cheese pizzas for $16.95. Another item of note, their awesome, inventive fresh salads. I'm not usually a dessert person, but their desserts are awesome. The owners really outdo themselves here.

We're been exploring the Potomac Highlands region of Wild, Wonderful West Virginia - have not had a decent meal until Bella Vita. Good food, good service.

10 times better than any Italian restaurant I've ever been to! Great service, very friendly staff, and mouthwatering food. Prices very fair. Quiet atmosphere. Will definitely return on my next vacation! (Small sign though. Almost missed it and had to back up.)

Friendly service in a great Victorian house. We got the shrimp alfredo and it was delicious. Our waitress was also really helpful in helping plan a surprise cheesecake desert, which was also good.

I had a pleasant meal here, in Petersburg's secret Italian restaurant. I say secret because nothing gave away the secret that this was an Italian restaurant until I got a menu! In fact the very fact there is a restaurant in the Hermitage is very low key. I like to eat mid-afternoon, so I had the place almost all to myself. In spite of my arriving about halfway between lunch and dinner, the staff was very attentive and wanted me to enjoy my visit. Their lunch menu is kind of steak shop/pizza shop plus, and I ordered Italian sausage, peppers, and onions. I then asked to see the supper menu for future reference and spotted a dish with broccoli. I mentioned to the waitress that I like broccoli, so she offered to have the kitchen prepare my meal with broccoli instead of peppers. Very special. The plate arrived about half my special sausage & broccoli and half spaghetti, and my soda never went empty while I ate.
