Figlio's defines the upscale restaurant that is cozy and potentially romantic. The lighting is kept low at the table areas. Good place to have conversation in a one in one setting. The bar is also dimly lit and a little small but good place to meet people and have a dialogue. Staff are willing to converse and be friendly. The quality of mixed drinks are excellent. Pizza is a popular item and to be tried. Dont forget the bread!!
Pleasant location away from the primary shopping area. Great wood fired pizza and entrees. Specials augment the standard menu. Excellent chowder and tasty salads (Al la carte). Featured wines and bottled beers offered. Atrium seating area can be noisy at peak times; main dining area is best for a quieter experience.
Fantastic experience! I can't believe I've lived in Centerville most my life & never been! I am definitely late to the party because Figlio is INCREDIBLE! Grabbed a late dinner with my friend and the first thing i noticed was the ambiance. Very pleasant lighting, cozy feel.
We had dirty martinis and it was one of the better martinis I've ever had. We then split the mussels (the jalapeno tomato butter broth was to-die-for) and the pear & brie pizza- PHENOMENAL! My fiance and I are going tomorrow for a date night and I cannot WAIT. Highly recommend checking it out if you haven't yet!
Good food, not great but good. Spotty service, some servers so so. Best feature, atmosphere.
The food is very good. Ate here twice on the way to concerts at Fraze. The second time they ran out of bread and it took more than 40 minutes to get our food (party of 4). The first time we had no complaints.
Exceptional food and service. A good value.
Worst experience. Made reservations for 3; seated at a row of tables and they immediate placed two ladies at the table next to us 14 inches away. There were tables of 4 separated by space. They can't leave dressing off the salad because they put the dressing on earlier in the table (bet they're nice and soggy that way). They can't prepare chicken they put on things without all the season--sounds like a portion pak restaurant to me.
The inexperienced seem to be in charge based on the seating in a relatively empty room with people jabbering away right next to you. Pizzas aren't nearly as good as Spinoza's pizza in Fairfield Mall. Server held the water glasses by the tops. I could actually taste hand lotion. Same server kept running her hands through her hair then handling things for customers. Sounds like better management and better training are needed. We won't be back. Too many other choices.
My favorite restaurant when I go to Dayton. The food is excellent and the prices are good.
Great place and great food. Jake was a wonderful bar tender!
Exceptional food and service. Don't know why this place isn't packed. Glad it's a hidden gem in the gem city. Dinner, drinks, and deserts were perfect. Corn crab soup very spicy, not your run of the mill corn chowder. Old fashioned spaghetti and meatballs are anything but old fashioned. Sauce is super tangy and the meatballs melt in your mouth. Will be back to try pizza.
disappointing. This was our third visit and pizza was good but not as good as the previous times. We ordered the only soup on the menu and it was considered a bowl of soup. $7 for a RAMEKIN of soup? Our pizzas were larger than before but the toppings were just spread out more so there was just more dough. The service is very good but it doesn't make up for the ok food.
We have been here a couple of times and we have enjoyed ourselves both times. The food is pretty good and the service was good as well.
